Excellent
We had a very long travel day and just wanted to relax and watch television before another long travel day ahead. Unfortunately, the television screen kept freezing up on every channel therefore, we did not get to enjoy the relaxing evening we had planned. Upon speaking with the front desk, I was informed that they had been experiencing issues for a while with the antenna in use for the second floor. He said he could move us to another room but could not guarantee the television would work. We were already unpacked and dressed for bed to relax and watch television so the last thing we wanted to do was re-dress, pack-up and move with no guarantee. He told me to ask for a certain front desk person who would be on duty the following morning and that she would address the inconvenience we experienced. When I spoke with her, she advised me that there was nothing she could offer. It is totally unacceptable that a hotel of this caliber would have an entire floor with an unresolved antenna issue leaving guests without access to a basic amenity. We stay at this property every year (some years multiple stays) and have yet to experience anything negative. It is unfortunate that we did during this stay, and nothing more than an apology was offered.
GGuest UserI was locked out of my room on the third afternoon. During my conference. Room #850 The Hotel said the booking was for 2 nights and asked me to leave or pay another $150.00. Because I already paid for the room I said no Then they had security remove me from the room and I left the Hotel.
Bbrandsunshine8084Upon arrival I had to ask for a room upgrade 5 times before the front desk clerk actually heard me. Mind you my voice carries when I whisper but for some reason she couldn't hear me and we were face to face. Front desk also didn't add member number so I could receive my points. Ac didn't cool my room until around 5am , toilet ran water alllll night. However the appearance of this particular location was nice. The owner was not pleasant. Stared us down as if we were criminals, never said hello, never asked if we needed anything never smiled never just glared at us. I'm real big on customer service and when a owner conducts himself in that manner I definitely will not be giving him my business again. I asked the morning clerk what his deal was towards me why is he staring and frown glaring so much she told me it was a free country they can look at the guest however they choose. I was just out done by the staff except the over night person that brought up 2 waters.

Very Good
GGuest UserThere was a prolonged heat dome over Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago and it was no time for a hotel's AC to be having problems, but alas that was the case with the Aloft Tulsa Downtown. Two rooms we were given on the 10th floor had thermostat set to 68 but room temperatures of 79 and 81. Then we got moved to the 3rd floor, which was good the first day but then had the same problem the second day. The afternoon/evening desk person was nice and apologetic each time we came with an issue. Eventually a maintenance guy came up to the room at 10:30 at night and worked on it for a while. He managed to get it to where the temp would top out at 75 or so, which was livable. But it wasn't just a room issue; the whole hotel seemed to be struggling, as corridors were not cool and the desk people were keeping the lobby door open and had a large fan blowing at them. Otherwise, the room was clean and enjoyable, with a high ceiling and plenty of boutique touches similar to other Alofts. One of us didn't like how the bathroom was arranged with a sliding door and no good place to put the bathmat after a shower. The other of us was okay with the layout but didn't like that the middle position of the bathroom faucet gives hot water to drink. There are food items including a variety of items for breakfast on sale in the lobby. There is a pool that guests seemed to be enjoying and an outdoor table area and patio from which we could watch sunsets. The morning desk person had lots of interesting advice for things to see or do in Tulsa or outlying areas. For what it's worth, the Apple Maps app has the wrong idea where the hotel is and will take you to location that does you no good. You need to go to Denver and Fifth, then past the Tulsa County Central Library, and that's where the entrance is. Then once you've found it, there's a gate that has to open for you, both entering and leaving. And if you're just out for a walk, there are different gates for a human to use, which require a code to get back in - be sure to ask the desk person because they don't inform you otherwise. The reason for all that security may be the immediate area, which is not that appealing. Despite being the downtown, there isn't much going on there, even on weekdays. And sadly there is a homeless problem in the area, especially in front of the aforementioned library (which is a great facility if you go inside). About the most normal activity comes in the morning when lawyers and others enter the Tulsa County Courthouse which is opposite the library. Now maybe the area is more active when there is an event at the BOK Arena a couple of blocks away, or a convention is taking place at the Cox Business Center right behind the hotel, but when were there for three days, the area was just not happening (in stark contrast to Bricktown in OKC, where we had been previously).

GGuest UserThe service here was outstanding. This place is quiet and spotless. I was so surprised because I had a bad experience before but the new manager Matthew made all the difference. You really want to give them a try if you ever stayed here before. Excellent amenities. Excellent waiting area. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was awesome. Waffles, eggs, sausage and gravy and even cereal for the kids. There's a mall across the street and there's a couple of places eating areas very close by as well as Barnes & Noble and how could I forget there's also an indoor pool for the kids.If you traveling to Tulsa near the Woodland Hills Mall area or even if you're not please try this hotel.
Vvje403Just needed a decent affordable room for a few nights & Quality Inn fit the bill. It was clean, quiet, no frills, which is exactly what we were looking for. There were only two things that could have made it better - if the ice machine worked & if they had an elevator. Don't bring much luggage because you will have to haul it up the stairs if your room is on the 2nd floor. All in all we had a great stay & would definitely stay there again.
