I really loved the place. The staff was very nice when we check in. The room was amazing nice and clean. We had a really good sleep. The breakfast was superb too. Will definitely be back.
The hotel should be an old hotel, and the facilities look quite old; the location is good and parking is free. The disadvantage is that the breakfast is too simple and not fresh. In the United States, this type of room is generally equipped with a microwave oven, but they do not have a microwave oven. It is very inconvenient for late guests to heat up a quick meal.

The breakfast is average and the environment is very good. The door is the seaside. The restaurant is just a few minutes' drive. Many restaurants in different countries recommend a Japanese restaurant on the side of the road. Very American-style Japanese food.
Stayed here due to the proximity to Channel Islands access and the location cannot be beat! Staff is super friendly and go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. Our room was clean and spacious, but the resort is showing some wear and tear from age. Our server at breakfast was excellent. Hotel could use some updating, especially compared with the Holiday Inn Express. No laundry facilities on-site, though you are able to go to the HI Express to use their single washer and dryer! I would rate the property 4 stars, but given the excellent staff, it bumps up the experience to 5 star.
Everything you could ask for in a hotel. Great location close to both downtown and just a few steps from the beach. The place was clean, the lobby was inviting, and the service was extremely good. Highly recommend.

Great location for shopping and eating! Next to the Pacific View Mall making things very convenient. Not too far from the pool hall and local bars either. Room was spacious and had a king size bed. Very comfortable. Bed comforter was clean and comfy. Towels were clean, no stains. The shower heads were very clean. Loved the kitchenette. Very clean. Staff is friendly and management is exceptional! Parking was not a problem and I was able to see my car from the window. AC worked amazing.

Outstanding
Understated elegance matched with vintage roots defines this fantastically refurbished hotel. We stayed one night to drink in the pleasures of Ventura and Ojai, but strangely found ourselves content relaxing on the patio watching the hustle of downtown and enjoying a fantastic mix of fine meats and cheeses provided from the bar in the lobby. I don’t know where else I would pick to stay in Ventura as it is not like anything else in the area. You certainly pay for what you get, but just having the option to splurge is great.
Wow! I wasn’t prepared for how nice this motel was, even after reading the reviews. The rooms are truly wonderful, boutique style without the outrageous price of a boutique hotel. They are spacious and spotlessly clean, something that is really important to me! The bed was quite honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on this trip (a 3 week road trip) and the sheets etc. and towels are top quality. Although there aren’t mini fridges in the rooms, I imagine that the new owners will probably eventually install them - in my opinion, the most important things have been done, complete renovations to the rooms in what was an older motel (which I do love) and a level of comfort and cleanliness that is top notch. We went for a walk in the neighbourhood, which felt very safe, and had dinner in a fantastic Mexican restaurant a few blocks down the road, called Casa de Soria. Honestly, I can’t recommend this motel (and restaurant) enough!
SSHIHUAThe location is easy to find, just across the road is the seaside, just park your car and walk past the hotel. On the first day I drove to the beach, I was charged a parking fee of $10. You must know that the beach was very cold and windy around 6 o'clock. I stayed for an hour at most, and $10 was too expensive. The next day was to go to the beach. The room is large, and the bathroom is especially large. There are toiletries, but no mineral water. The bed is also big enough for a family of three. The breakfast is richer, and the scrambled eggs and bacon areas need to show the hotel meal coupons and someone will help you serve them. The amount is relatively small, and they look unhappy. Not far from the surrounding area, there are Macy’s, Target, a Chinese restaurant. The Chinese food tastes slightly American and a bit sweet. The cost of the three dishes adds up to US$50, which is quite expensive.
GgurereI used it for my husband and wife. Of course, it doesn't feel luxurious, but it's clean, it's taking measures against the coronavirus properly, and instead of having no breakfast buffet, I was very grateful to have a simple pick-up breakfast. (oatmeal, cereal, apple, yogurt, milk, hot coffee, etc.). By the way, it's a pandemic and it's difficult to eat out now, but there is a supermarket nearby for about 5 minutes by car, so it's convenient if necessary. The parking lot was $ 12 per night separately from the accommodation fee. Check-out is 11 o'clock and a little earlier than others, but it was good that the car was put in the parking lot during the day after check-out. Thanks to that, I was able to put my big luggage in the trunk of the car and go to nearby beaches and restaurants within walking distance before returning home. The room was originally booked with a harbor view room so I could see a very nice view from the balcony. The sunset was also beautiful. The room had a coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator in the queue. This was also good because the refrigerator was cooled with drinks. If you want to spend a relaxing time on the beach, Ventura is more small and calm than Santa Monica or Malibu. If you live near Los Angeles, you can travel on weekends very easily because it's about an hour by car. :)
TTIANXIANGThe hotel is in a good location, just off Highway 1, with free parking. The room was also very clean, there was a laundry room, USD 2.00 laundry, USD 1.25 drying. There is a shopping center nearby, and you can go to the beach to eat seafood. Breakfast is served at Denny's opposite, and one of the 4 packages is good. Overall good!
This really is a gem, I was hesitant on sharing my opinion because I didn't want to let the secret out. I obviously a bring Fido kind of traveler and although I was weary at first because its next to the freeway (What motel 6 isnt) I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the check in service was and the room was clean. This particular location is walking distance to Main St. where all the restaurants are located. Cant beat the location and Price. The only downside was not providing soap. Most motel 6's I've visited atleast provide hand soap.
GGuest UserIt is an old motel but it has been looked after really well. The rooms were clean and there was a lot of space. Not too far from the beach either. Definitely worth the price.
WWilde1DAshley and Daniel are superb people. I was in need of some human kindness and received it today at the Johnson Dr, Ventura, CA Motel 6. I’m a regular at Motel 6 because I travel with two dogs and I know what to expect. So, my 5 star rating is based on my best experience at Motel 6 and 1 star is my worst experience at Motel 6. Motel 6 is an average place to lodge. If you require more, simply pay for an expensive room. What can make a big difference is staff. Ashley and Daniel are such staff people. They still don’t know this but I have a medical condition right now that makes me sensitive to sun and heat and we’re in a record heat wave. Furthermore, I slipped and fell on wet stairs at the beach and came down hard on my tailbone. I just needed AC and a bed. I showed early for the reservation and asked if I could enter the room early too. I’m not a demanding person so if they said it wasn’t possible I can accept that. Ashley and Daniel must’ve noticed I wasn’t feeling well because I didn’t mention it to them like I said above. Nevertheless, they switched me to a room that was available at no charge and even called me in the room to check if everything was ok. I’m appreciative of the little act of humanity they offered me today. Being able to share my experience with you makes me feel better too!
JJIAYINGDon't worry about safety. The tramp is very common in the United States. It is not near the hotel. It is very convenient to eat around. The steak is delicious. If you can accept the 7-day speed in the country, you can rest assured on the 6th. Stay, the 6th is stronger than the domestic fast, but it is worse than the Jinjiang Star. If you want to live better and don't want to spend too much money, recommend Best Western Best Western, which is better than Jinjiang Star. A little better, I live in Miss Hilton’s house, but the money is much more, and the grades are not much better.
GGuest UserIt’s not a luxury hotel so I didn’t expect it to be Caesar’s Palace. It was, however, great for the price! It was economic and had what we needed to spend the night. The front desk lady was so funny and gave motherly feeling. The location was also convenient. It was just a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you’re not looking for a luxurious visit, then it’s a good choice!
The average price for hotels in Ventura is AED 786 on weekdays, and AED 895 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
