The hotel is very good. Has a garage, so you can park your car and heading the hotel from the garage. The breakfast is complimentary for all guests. Rooms have a modern shower.

First the positives - the staff was very nice and the breakfast was okay. Now the rest of it. My room was not cleaned the entire time I was there. Apparently, even if you want your bed made, you must request it each day. It was written on one of the many pieces of paper they gave me and I missed it - my bad. Now, let's talk about the rooms. This was one of the worst rooms I've ever been in. I had booked a queen room and when I checked in, I was told I was upgraded to a king suite. They put me in a king handicapped room. It had a bathroom, a bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser and a chair. There was no table and there was no desk. I had to work while I was there and had no place to put my computer. Necessity is the mother of invention so I ended up putting my computer on the ironing board which I set-up next the only chair in the room. Speaking of work, the internet was down all of one of the days I was there. Additionally, at least one of the elevators wasn't working every day. I used the pool and it was very unpleasant. It looked like it hadn't been updated in decades and most of the tile trim was missing. The "beach towels" they provided were more like hand towels.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - ever again. Stay away - far away.

Good. I have stayed here many times. This is the first time I encountered a snowy day. There was no hot breakfast. Only bread and fruit.

The bed is very comfortable. My daughter is studying at WashU and she always stays in this hotel. It is best to choose a room with a rain screen. It is newly renovated and much cleaner.

This is a hotel with a long history. The facilities reveal a sense of history. The room was not cleaned until called, so no one picked up the tip placed on the bedside for 4 consecutive days. The air conditioning equipment was really beyond expectations. The window unit was as loud as a tractor when it started. The central air conditioning would automatically start at a certain interval, which would definitely pull you back to reality from your dream, so I couldn't sleep properly for several consecutive nights. From this hotel, I saw the United States in the 19th century, and it really felt like a time travel.
