Eric welcomed us on arrival. Showed us to our rooms. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, snd garden for kids to play, chickens, swings. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for a unique, beautiful, and comfortable home from home.

Clerey is an Old village south of Troyes, france with NO NEW buildings, only old traditional houses restored to today’s standard. Really close to A5 and A26 highways. There are three pleasant walking tracks available and described in a depliant you can find at this guest house; The Cler’hier guest house is one of the old building with an spacious garden a retro gazebo and a surprising breakfast room. In summer you can actually have a bath in the Seine river because there is a small beach nearby. The rooms are actual, modern, the bathrooms are WIDE the beds comfy. Champagne is LOCAL first of all and available in your bedroom to order. Nice stay.

Convenient location en route. Clean. Quiet. Friendly owner. Lighting a bit dim, bed creaky, but generally perfect for a quick stop. Beautiful farm conversion dining room for simple but good continental breakfast. Fixed menu dinner available if booked ＞24 hours in advance : next time would definitely be tempted.

This is a really pretty place to enjoy a stopover. Lovely garden with a number of little seating areas, it was very charming. The owner was very welcoming and the rooms well appointed. It was obvious that children of all ages are welcome, and well catered for, from babies upwards. They don't provide dinner every night so ask when you book as there isn't much else around. I'd also have appreciated the chance to get a cold beer or glass of wine after our 800km drive, but I think you need to bring your own. Would certainly stay here again.

Dans cette maison d'hôte le cadre est très sympathique ! Le jardin est entretenu, la maison superbe et la chambre aux goûts du jour. Les hôtes sont également très accueillants. Les chambres ont d'ailleurs des entrées privatives, dans le jardin, il n'est pas nécessaire de passer par la maison principale. Nous y avons passé une superbe nuit, très confortable !

De B & B geboekt als tussenstop. We werden verwelkomd door een vriendelijke gastheer. Er was een afgesloten parking. We kregen een verzorgde kamer met uitzicht op een mooie tuin en met een nette badkamer. Het avondmaal was zeer verzorgd, startend met een glaasje champagne. De gerechten waren van goede kwaliteit en met vakkennis klaargemaakt. Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk en ruim voldoende. Kortom, een goede keuze.
