If you are into peace and quiet and a laid back vacation then this is certainly a good place to consider. However, it is an older resort and the accommodations are a little outdated. The furniture is worn out and uncomfortable and needs replaced. The staff are warm and friendly. I can see that in the early days of timeshare what a great deal this was. But with only minimal maintenance completed it does need more attention now.

The overall unit is alright but the furniture is old and extremely uncomfortable. The carpet is old and dirty so be sure to always wear your shoes around the place. There is a mandatory facility charge per person per day regardless if you plan on using the facilities or not. The hot tub was not working while we were there which is the only thing I wanted to use.

The resort staff was nice and helpful. The unit was nice and clean. It had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. The diner on property had great food and the staff was great. The horse riding was a lovey experience and Champ was a great horse. We enjoyed visiting Helen. Ga. Helen was close with some great restaurants (Cowboys and Angels and Hofbrauhaus....to name two) and shops. Also, we went to Blue Ridge and rode the train to the TN line along the river and it was beautiful! I'll visit again!

This "resort" was not we expect. The staff was very nice, but their hands were tied. I asked about closed amenities on Monday and Tuesday and was told no one informed them. Every amenity required driving. A palmetto bug scurried across our living room...I kllled it and took it to the office, Was told "well, we get those" Towels were bordering on sandpaper. No coffee...was told they could not get it. No facial tissues. This place does not meet or deserve the title of "Resort.

This is a cute little resort if only it were not located within a community who thinks they are the cat's pajamas. Eight dollars or nine dollars per day per person makes this resort a very cost in effective trip.

in general we liked, very quiet setting, on the lake with a lot of different kinds of ducks, beautiful mountains and sunset view. Property has 32 apartments only, wasn't busy. The only we didn't like, the whole property is old, build like 50+ years ago, has specific old smell, but apartment has all needed stuff.

Great location, old resort with sparse and uncomfortable furniture, cobwebs everywhere outside unit and stairs. Worst of all- no working fireplace-just opening covered with yellow caution tape that was not lovely to look at. Resort made no effort to notify guest of such prior to checkin. Balcony had choice of kiddie picnic table or swing covered i cobwebs. No rockers, adult chairs. We left early.
