Hampton Inn Tiffin

We had a nice enough overnight stay. Try the waffles at breakfast. The pool was nice and relaxing. We liked the friendly staff.

Wow!!! This place is great and so welcoming. Came here with my collegiate lacrosse team and were treated like royalty. As soon as I. Hacked in they had everyone’s room keys with their names and WiFi instructions on them ready to go. They also had the conference room all setup and marked with our team name on the door and on a sign when we walked in. Jim brought us waters and make us feel at home the moment we stepped in. I also noticed that my room, the lobby, and the breakfast bar was very clean. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and if you get the pleasure to meet Jim, you will see how great he is! Thank you Hilton for the great stay.

Manager Pam Wise, personally and thoughtfully acknowledged our family's loss when we came to Tiffin for a funeral. I have never been treated more kindly at a hotel. The front desk and breakfast service team were also exceptional. The location and rooms are great, but it's the caring service that makes this Hampton Inn truly memorable.

Breakfast aside, this was a good stay. Tony at the check-in counter in the morning and the breakfast woman were very friendly and a joy to talk with. Even though a bit more pricey than some chain hotels, I've always tried to stay at Hampton mainly because I thought their breakfast was worth the extra money. I've stayed at a few different Hamptons in the last year and none of the breakfasts were up to par. Used to be you would get warm cookies at check-in and fresh cut fruit with plenty of protein choices for breakfast. Their breakfast is what kept me coming back, but no more. Now their breakfast has me seeking out other places to try. I've asked management why no more cookies and fresh cut fruit at each of my stays and I get really stupid excuses like covid or the high cost of living??!! All BS excuses for not doing it right like they used to (and were known for). Why should I pay more to stay at Hampton and get crappy powdered eggs and microwave turkey sausage when there are places more reasonably priced that have as good or better breakfast? Looks to me like Hampton has certainly lowered their standards when it comes to their breakfasts -

The room was very clean and well kept. Although the hotel was close to capacity, we didn't hear a peep from the hall or the walls. Slept like babies. The breakfast, although it stated continental, was served with hot/cold items including waffles, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, toast, eggs, danish and the best coffee this gal has had in a hotel in a LONG time!

Highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn in Tiffin. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a great smokehouse right next door that is great also.
