La carte et les menus sont rédigés habilement mais trompent le client sur ce qui lui sera servi, même si la préparation, la qualité des plats et le service sont sans reproche.
Exemple du menu affiché en PJ: magret de canard crémeux aux pleurotes, seule une très légère couche de sauce crémeuse, fort goûteuse d'ailleurs recouvre le magret, et aucune pleurote dans l'assiette, Et les pommes boulangères ressemblent à des frites de carotte sans aucune trace perceptible de lard ou d'oignon, en dépit de leur originalité.
De même, le fromage de chèvre affiné ne comporte qu'une demi-cuillère à café de marmelade de rhubarbe !

Didnt know what to expect with this hotel as the rooms looked quite cramped on the photos. This old and interesting hotel was very attractive. Our room was clean and comfortable and not cramped at all. Unfortunately the hotel had recently been flooded by the River Loir so there were humidifiers in reception, the carpets were covered by plastic sheeting and the dining room was closed. This didnt detract from our enjoyment. Dinner was arranged in the small restaurant at the front and was delightful. The food was very good. Service was also good.

My wife and I, at best, speak broken French. We arrived on Friday before check-in was allowed and accidently walked into the kitchen/restaurant. The staff was at first, a little put off, but some manners, trying to speak French, and congeniality put everyone in a better mood. The staff let us check in early and the room was wonderful. The staff was extremely accommodating that day and thereafter. We were told right away that dinner for the two of us was ok. The Hotel is located in a very small village with three (3) restaurants in the town, so it was not a surprise to us that the Hotel restaurant was almost fully booked on a Friday night. The rest of our stay, through the weekend went off without a hitch the Hotel staff was always very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our every request. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! Jean Pierre, the manager, went out of his way to be sure we were comfortable and arranged for a taxi to get us to Chateaudun on a Sunday afternoon without incident. I can highly recommend this Hotel. The village has a pleasant public market on Saturday near the local church and is beautiful to walk through.

Il paese è piccino e alle 8.30 tutti sono tra le braccia di Morfeo. Unica eccezione questo hotel-ristorante. Camere comode ed accoglienti. Pulizia OK. Colazione non regalata ma adeguata. Comodo il parcheggio, gratuito. Personale simpatico: sono veramente capaci a fare il loro mestiere. Cosa non frequente.

Excellent accueil, la chambre est confortable et bien décorée. Le gros +, le calme, les chambres étant sur cour. Un seul regret,, le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur malgré tous les efforts d'une employée efficace et très aimable. La qualité générale des produits servis est à revoir. Dommage!

En déplacement d’affaires, j’ai réservé une soirée étape. Chambre charmante avec un restaurant qui mériterais d’être étoilé, service irréprochable. L’environnement est calme et agréable. Je voyage énormément pour le business et je vois bon nombre d’hôtels, celui-ci m’a fait pour la première fois laissé un avis. Je recommande vivement.

Excellent accueil, service rapide du menu du jour à 21€. Choix court mais pertinent pour satisfaire tous les convives. Rapport qualité/prix très correct, bonne cuisine "maison". Le vin en bouteille est beaucoup trop cher, même les vins locaux....

L'établissement me téléphone et m'envoie également un message pour me demander....si je vais prendre leur petit-déjeuner à 12 Euros et si je vais dîner chez eux...Qu'est-ce que ça peut bien leur faire ? C'est certainement pour savoir quel profit supplémentaire il va réaliser avec ce client.... J'avais d'ailleurs décidé de ne pas prendre le petit-déjeuner chez eux car il y avait beaucoup de mauvais commentaires disant qu'il était peu copieux avec peu de choix et cher pour ce que c'était Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise en arrivant de constat que la nuitée est de 92 Euros, et on m'a facturé ....100,80 Euros la nuitée..... Quand j'ai demandé pourquoi je paye 8,80 Euros supplémentaires, la réponse fut par ce que j'avais réservé sur Booking et que Booking prend beaucoup de commission. L'établissement majore donc le prix des clients qui ont eu le malheur de réserver sur Booking. C'est parfaitement inadmissible et scandaleux !!!! Il ne faut surtout pas rogner la marge de l'établissement..... Concernant le restaurant de l'établissement, les prix sont très élevés et les plats pas du tout copieux. Le plus petit prix pour un plat principal est de 22 Euros, ce qui n'est absolument pas justifié, hormis le fait que cela permet de réaliser une magnifique marge.... Les prix de cet établissement aussi bien pour les chambres que pour le restaurant sont très élevés et absolument pas justifiés. Je déconseille vivement cet établissement
