So, i booked a one night stay at Heytesbury House. I was really looking forward to the stay and the scones! Unfortunately, i had to cancel my stay due to family commitments back home. I tried to cancel online but as i booked directly, I couldn't find a cancellation button on their website. When i called twice, Kathryb claimed she hadn't received my email requesting for cancellation. However, we realised that the issue stemmed from hotmail. Once i resent my request via gmail, she immediately submitted through the portal and i could see both an email cancellation and refund amount pending in my card issuer statement. I used to be in hospitality and had to managed booking platforms and host guests from overseas. As a host, she has been very friendly and understanding throughout my phone conversations with her. I am disappointed I don't get to visit her and explore her home. Hopefully a next trip. Thank you Ms Kathryn!
