The hotel is in a fantastic spot opposite the old town, but easily accessible and away from the noise. The view over to the town was amazing. In terms of the details, the room was clean, albeit a little dated and the breakfast could have done with a bit more imagination (e.g. offering croissants) for international travellers. That said, the hotel is catering for a traditional German market.

Clean rooms although the place needs an upgrade. The location is great as it is not in the town centre but within walking distance, just crossing the bridge. Excellent breakfast choice. in general, good place to stay but overpriced for what you get.

Great family style hotel. Very helpful and friendly owners. We stayed in an apartment in the back of the hotel with a view of the river from the kitchen window. The apartment was comfortable with a large kitchen, comfortable bed and updated bathroom. However the apartment is need of remodeling .

The hotel is perfectly located across the Cochem Altstadt, with a view of the Reichsburg castle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are relatively basic, but comfortable and have everything you need. I liked that there are patios available for guests to use. Parking was a bit of a challenge, as the hotel only has a few available for guests, but staff assisted in finding alternative parking.

The room was on the small side but very clean. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The location was very good very close to the town and many bars and restaurants. We were able to park our motorcycles right outside the entrance. Would stay again but perhaps in a bigger room.

The hotel is at at a nice location on the river. However the restaurant is closed at 18u and the female owner is very grumpy. This women should not own a hotel. The other people are very friendly. The breakfast was also very good!

The hotel is acceptable. Room was good. However the reception closes at 6pm and there is no food or drinks after that time. Breakfast was fine. Parking is a major problem. There just aren’t enough parking places and you cannot pre book…so I drive 2000km from Scotland and then can’t park properly. It meant parking in an unsuitable location. Town is beautiful. However, overall our stay was ok.

Es war wie immer sehr gut! Das Frühstücksbüffet ist hervorragend! Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und man kann gut schlafen. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen. Wenn alles klappt und wir gesund bleiben kommen wir im September 2025 wieder!
