The hotel is very nostalgic, and it feels like traveling back to the last century.
We booked three days for this trip, and the room was not cleaned on the second day.

Had a lovely three nights at the Hotel Imperial. In fact, it was our favourite hotel of the three we stayed in whilst travelling around Germany for a week. The hotel is in an ideal location and a 5-10 minute walk from Venloerstrasse-a street with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. In fact it’s much better to get a meal here as opposed to some of the tourist traps nearer the Altstadt. You can walk from the hotel to the Cathedral in about 35 mins or otherwise the public transport is 5-10 mins walk. We had a very comfortable and quiet room on the third floor. All amenities we needed were provided. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A shout out to Hert Engelmann who was patient and complimentary with my rusty German and who gave us some excellent t restaurant tips. Would definitely return.

We loved our stay here. Big room with en suite, air-con, dining table, sofa, TV, lots of storage space. Warm welcome and super helpful staff. Lovely breakfast buffet. Very convenient location. Highly recommend.

Das Hotel Imperial in Köln-Ehrenfeld war für meine Geschäftsreise perfekt gelegen. Extrem positiv überrascht wurde ich dann von einem sehr bequemen Bett, einem liebevollen Frühstücksbuffet - und v. a. von einer außergewöhnlichen Flexibilität und Kundennähe, die wohl nur ein privat geführtes Haus bieten kann: Jede Ansprechperson fühlte sich wirklich verantwortlich für das Wohlergehen der Gäste, und das alles mit einer freundlich-authentischen Lockerheit. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
