2-Star Hotels in Cologne

Hygien, room, bed, quietness everything was great except that I got this problem with the receptionists. So I did explain to all the receptionist (that I saw-because I understand they work in shifts) that I lost 2 luggages due to the airline's mistake and airline will send them to this hostel where I would be staying (for 1 night only). I explained that if someone sent luggages here, please tell me asap because I needed to catch a train to Amsterdam the nextday noon. Imagine 35kg of personal belongs just dissapeared, I didnt have toothbrush, clean clothings.... I reminded them everything 3-4 hours when I saw a receptionist. After almost 27 hours of waiting in worry (which made me cannot enjoy the city), I talked to one receptionist to please check 1 more time becauze the airlines mailed me that they did send to the hostel at 4:30pm in the day I checked-in hostel, (only 4-5 hours after my flight time), she let me go it the luggage room and my luggages were there the whole time! So I waited in pain for 22 hours for nothing. I think it would be a bit obvious when 1 guy in delivery company uniform went in with 2 luggages and said ”this is from one of your customer.” But the receptionist just forgot it quickly and didnt tell me. I had to change a lot of my plan and I was feeling terible and stressful with the waiting and fear of lost luggages. Beside that, the condition of rooms, facilities, warm water, sound proof windows were great.

The room is small, the bed is almost 0.9 meters wide, not equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. Check-in starts at 15:00 pm and check-out before 10:00 am. The key card can be placed directly in the box at the front desk. Luggage can be stored for free. There is an elevator available upstairs. My room towels and bath towels have not been finished. I heard the church bells clearly.

The location of the hotel is top, but the hotel is an old building, unfortunately I haven't made any photos, the equipment is very simple, there are no particularities, you get a bed and a bathroom, and a TV. A little adventureful is the driving chair, this seems really very old, and if you use it, it's not opening the door, but here there's a trick, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, Just so long and walking down until the door opens. In the night the driving chair is probably off because of that. I didn't test the wheel.

Gute Lage im Shopping-Distrikt der Innenstadt. 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof. 5 Gehminuten zum Dom oder zum Rhein. Zuvorkommrnde, freundliche Angestellte. ZIMMER, Rezeption und Restaurant frisch modernisiert. Ansprechendes Design. Ausstattung aber eher Basic. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Altmodische Tür mit Schlüssel. Das Zimmer insgesamt sehr klein. Das Bett mit guter Schlafqualität. Das Frühstück ansprechend präsentiert. Höhepunkt: Die frischen Waffeln.

It seems to be a good place to stay for one night except for the arrogance that the socks were on the ceiling. I came to Cologne Carnival and was satisfied with the fairly reasonable price.

Anyway, the room was lovely, it was beautiful, there were curtains, and privacy could be protected. Wi-Fi crunchy. The atmosphere of the people who stayed was also good. The staff was also very kind. The bath drainage was a little bad.

Booked a room at a non-refundable rate. We were informed after payment that our room number will be 1 (it is located on the 1st floor). However, when we arrived we were given keys to the 12th room on the 4th floor. There is no elevator in the hotel and we, with a small child and 2 suitcases, went up the stairs to the 4th floor, after which my husband had an asthma attack. For the convenience of the room - the room is tiny, the bed is one double (the three of us were already cramped), there is no kettle, no refrigerator, wi-fi worked, the room has a small table and 1 chair, toilet and shower, 3 towels. Room price includes breakfast. It was excellent, freshly sliced from sausage, cheese, salad greens, milk, pastries, coffee beans, toasts and jam. The hotel is located near the airport (2-stop S-19 train) in the Kalk chapel. Taxi to the airport 30 euros.

It is very close to the train station here! ! It took about 5 minutes.....The boss was very friendly. I specially arranged a room with a bathroom for me. It was small but the facilities were very good! A person is good value for money👍

The hotel is a comfortable and functional hotel outside the city. You will need a car to move to the center. There is free parking and the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

We (mother with 2 children) have stayed here 1 night between visiting Phantasiapark and the day of Cologne. Prima price, a net (small) room and a breakfast for €10.50 pp. The breakfast was very wide, the room for breakfast was very uncomfortable but further good. Staff was very friendly. No congestion of the aircraft (it is near the airport) or other traffic due to very well-isolated windows. Hotel is located 15m drive from the centre of Cologne but 10m walk you can also take the train and leave your car free of charge at the hotel. I'll be a recommender for one night.
