I liked everything! The room is not dirty, the linen is not the newest, but clean. No cockroaches or ants. Very polite girls at the reception.

Overall it's OK, the guys at the front desk are very welcoming. The air conditioner is not very cool, the elevator is broken and has a very pungent chemical smell, I don't know if it's paint or something else. It's not too far from the beach, but it's not recommended.

The hostel is located in the center of Colombo, on a main road, which is relatively easy to find. It costs about 500 rupees to take a tuk-tuk to Beta and the Fortress area, less than 300 rupees to go to the Water Temple, and 5,000 rupees to charter a bus to the airport. You can walk to the National Museum and several surrounding buildings. It is also very close to the seaside train through an alley. There is a supermarket across the road, a fast food restaurant and a McDonald's nearby. The room is not big, the furnishings are simple, the air conditioning and bathroom are easy to use, and the sound insulation is good. In the room next to the road, you can't hear the sound of cars outside when you close the window. Breakfast is on the 4th floor, with simple coffee, bread, fruit, juice, and you can also order omelettes or omelettes. The staff were friendly. I stayed for 2 nights. The WIFI provided a password and needed to be verified. I had a SIM card but I didn’t use the WIFI. I didn’t know how to operate the TV, so I didn’t watch it. The mattress is a bit collapsed, but overall the price/performance ratio is relatively high.
