Manipati Hotel in Colombo, an old house built in 1906, was once the private residence of the Correa family. Stepping into the hotel, it feels like traveling through time and space, and deeply appreciates the texture polished by time. The hotel cleverly retains the original colonial architectural details and historical and cultural atmosphere. The hotel has only a few rooms, and my room was unexpectedly upgraded with a small garden. A chair and a small coffee table in the corner became a good place for me to read. In the morning, squirrels jumped between the trees, green parrots played on the white walls, and I enjoyed a quiet time in the swimming pool in front of the door. Thank you!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. This is our third time in Sri Lanka and by far the best hospitality and food!! For context we stayed at many five star hotels including notable Sri Lankan chains and the food was exquisite and staff so friendly and really went the extra mile! Couldn't recommend more!! Shout outs to Amila and Gayan - you rock.

The staff and the hotel were exceptional. Exceeded our expectations. Very professional staff, always on hand to assist and provide useful local tips and information. Great food and the accommodation was colonial and beautifully styled,, very comfortable and in a fantastic location. It is a special place and we will return.

A gem in a busy city Charming boutique hotel in an old colonial setting with only 7 rooms Staff welcoming ,accommodating and very friendly Food delicious at breakfast , lunch and dinner Room very spacious and comfortable We will certainly return if we are back in Sri Lanka

The perfect place to recuperate after 24 hours of long haul travel. Elegant and luxurious without being stuffy. Staff are open and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast an absolute treat. An oasis in a vibrant-but-sometime-chaotic city. We loved it.

This hotel is small and intimate with gorgeously appointed rooms surrounding a courtyard and swimming pool. Originally a private house for 5 generations of family and now an elegant hotel. Staff are kind and friendly. Rooms are luxurious. Meals are taken in the garden and the menu is excellent. Couldn’t ask for more!

Such a beautiful oasis in the heart of Colombo. Understated excellence from every team member at the property. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful food, rooms and ambience. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Simply superb on every level!
