My husband and I were considering a room at the Southpark hotel and were served by Kam. He was a delight! He offered a senior discount which helped much on the rate. When our room was not ready, he immediately found a better room to accommodate us. We were grateful and impressed by the service! When we left early the following morning my husband inadvertently left his cell phone in the room. After calling the hotel Kam answered the phone. He swiftly ran up to the room to look for it....and did find it and kept it safe. We were able to arrange for a friend still in town to pick it up. Throughout our stay and even beyond, Kam could not be more pleasant or accommodating to us. He went beyond the call of duty. Sure, he was performing his job, but he did so with great enthusiasm and a wonderful attitude it made staying@ this hotel chain well.

Nice property! Room very clean and big! Staff here is very nice and helpful Lots and lots of restaurant choices and shopping in the area some even within easy walking distance Hot tube has great strong jets and was super relaxing but could use a nice scrubbing- I still would give this 5 stars except the breakfast was awful! As a Diamond member we get credit daily for food on site and the breakfast was so bad we didn’t even want it for free!! The buffet was pitiful- everything undercooked and tasteless- had to ask for juice, milk and bacon as there wasn’t any- very very disappointing for such a nice property

I stayed at this property for one night in August 2023. I had selected the hotel after reviewing the pictures and descriptions contained on the Marriott website which showed a new or refurbished property with modern rooms. What I encountered was an old, run-down, and dirty 2 star hotel. The room looked right out of 1981. Carpeting had stains and was sticky. Bathroom had mold. Furniture was beat-up and stained. If it wasn't so late in the evening after I arrived, following a long drive, I would have immediately checked out and gone to another property. This was easily the worst hotel I've stayed at in many years. It appears that Marriott plans to renovate the property as tomes point. However, its just false advertising and poor dis-honest customer service for Marriott to have incorrect pictures and descriptions posted on their website. Its dishonest, deceitful and surprising from what is usually considered a highly respected company. I recommend you stay away from this property until you can confirm its been fully renovated.
