BBobEarly June is off season and a great time to visit a quiet Revelstoke. The Sutton Place is a few minutes from town at the center of what looks to one day be a mini Whistler. The hotel is elegant and modern. The rooms are IMHO magnificent. We both decided we could live there full time. We had more than we needed or wanted and it is all very well done. We were a little concerned that there was only one restaurant (Rockford) and town required driving. The full kitchen in our room would have been used if we were staying longer or had family with us. The first meal at the Rockford convinced us to eat all meals there. Everything about the Rockford was excellent; ambiance, view, staff, and of course food. At our last meal before leaving I was craving veggies and selected a tuna ”bowl”. I'm only 77 but it was one of the tastiest and satisfying meals ever.

GGingerNutzHandily located just off the Trans-Canada highway. If you don't want to drive into town then it's a decent walk or there's a shuttle bus, which we used both days we stayed at the hotel.
We were offered ear plugs when we checked in. We should have taken them! One side of the hotel faced the highway the other side faced the railway. For a new hotel, the sound proofing was disappointing. However, the room was large, with plenty of storage. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was great. The room was serviced daily.
Breakfast was good, considering it was complementary. Plenty of choice.
I would stay at the Fairfield again.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are very good. Clean and tidy. Reasonable layout. The bathroom is very comfortable. There is also a small kettle with warm water. This is not available in many Canadian hotels. The bathroom is also very comfortable. The shower and bathtub are separated. In short, it is a very comfortable hotel. The sound insulation is also very good.

SSoAdjacent to the Trans Canada Highway so getting back on our drive from Banff to Vancouver was very convenient. Salmon Arm is about halfway to Vancouver or Banff and this makes the motel a perfect overnight stop.
The bedroom is separated by a wall from the dining table, fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom is very clean and you can park in front of your own room.
Checking in and out took no time at all.
The owners are very friendly.

AAnonymous UserIt is the most popular hotel in the small town. The conditions are good and the rooms are spacious enough. Only after staying in a Banff hotel do I know how cost-effective it is. If the budget is limited, it is strongly recommended to live here instead of banff.

MMike PirieFound this Gem in a last-minute search for a place to stay in the mountains. We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but would definitely return if we find ourselves in the Rockies again. The room was clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Great views, Love the communal concept of the kitchen & fire pit. Great way to meet new people. Easy to find & not far from the amenities of the town of Golden.
Not sure if this furry friend is a full time resident or not but, sure was friendly!
