Saffron House

We had a beautiful stay at saffron house. The room was very very clean. The owners were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious with lots of different options. I would definitely go back. such a great location, just a short walk to the beach.

This was my third night's accommodation while walking the South West Coastal Walk. The hotel was comfortable, good location on what is the longest high street in the country. A good full English breakfast to start the day! Friendly & helpful staff.

Lovely hosts, great location and goid breakfast. Room was small but it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Only thing i would say it the towels need replacing as they are shabby. It's only 10 mins walk at most to the beachfront and there are some really nice shops, pubs and cafes nearby. I'd definitely come back

We recently spent 2 nights as a family of four at the Saffron House Hotel. Thanks to Dave & Diane for the amazing welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent with a wide choice: cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and traditional English (cooked to order). The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the beach which is very sheltered. We kayaked from the cove which seemed to be a popular activity as the water is so calm. All in all would definitely recommend Saffron House Hotel if you are visiting the area.

5 stars. We had a few calls and email corespondents, all answered extremely quickly with was great. When we arrived we had a nice welcome and shown to our room. The room was very pleasant and clean. The Only downside with are room was lack of plug sockets so with 4 of us staying in the one room with quite a lot of electrical devices we found we needed to manage this. The breakfast was excellent great choices of hot and cold breakfast. The reason for us staying there was to go to a wedding nearby. We tried to get a taxi there but none wore available,so we wore going to drive but Dave very kindly gave us a lift. If we go to this part of the World again we definitely will stop there.

I stayed at the Saffron B&B as I was attending a friends wedding at The Arches wedding venue. This hotel was a great location as only a 10 min walk to the venue, beach & shops. I didn’t venture outside the village. But it did have a few shops, pubs & a fish & chip shop. There are loads of places & other beaches near by to venture out to, so this hotel is an ideal base. My room was very clean & airy with a great view. The owners were lovely & welcoming. Breakfast was great & they had a good choice of fruit/cereals or cooked breakfast to order. I would highly recommend The Saffron Hotel.
