Conakry Hotels with Bars

The staffs are friendly and speaks Good English, and the services was excellence! Maybe in the future, the hotel can provide the English Newspapers to the guests? Regards Kim

The best place to stay in Conakry: Rooms are huge and immaculately clean, laundry service is very quick (compared to other hotels in the city). The hotel have two restaurants in addition to the coffee area by the lobby used for breakfast. Both restaurants menus have plenty of choices, different cuisines (the restaurant downstairs by the swimming pool Injira is more middle east cuisine oriented and offer a nice barbecue buffet every Thursday). The Siete bar restaurant at the rooftop have a more Asian menu, but every single dish is top notch, the bartender makes amazing cocktails and the staff is very efficient. The swimming pool is decent size and very clean. One of the biggest plus in this hotel is the Gym: the hotel have two facilities, a huge CrossFit gym and a well equipped temporary gym (i think the main one by the swimming pool is being upgraded), the hotel have tennis courts as well. Two ATMs withing the hotel parking area, a barbershop and clothing concept store.

The environment is OK, the black hotel service level is calculated.

Surprisingly good, it is rare that there is a five-star hotel opened by Chinese in the westernmost part of the African continent. I heard that it is a green space project. There are Chinese staff who do not need language switching at all. The lobby has background music familiar to Chinese people, and the room configuration is also comprehensive. Five-star standard, especially for breakfast, there are many choices of Chinese food, from check-in to check-out, it feels like staying in a hotel in China, the experience is very good, it is worth recommending to compatriots and friends who are in Guinea

This has become my companies preferred hotel in Conakry. Not my first choice. Nevertheless, it is clean, tidy and, on the whole, very agreeable. The staff are very good, though at breakfast I get the impression the staff would be happier if there were no guests. Asking for coffee is like asking the waiter for one of their mother’s kidneys. I am happy to stay here.

It was my first trip to Conakry. Thanks to ONOMO HOTEL I felt at home. Best wishes. However, I was a little bothered by the need to activate my card at all times. This caused a lot of comings and goings from my room to reception. Even on the day of my departure I spent more than 10 minutes in front of my 2020 door before the solution was resolved. However, I was very delighted and happy to have spent my stay in your hotel.

I chose this place because of the proximity to my work and price. Overall my impression was ok despite that there are some minor issues. In this country they were not major issues such as low temperature of the shower water on a few days during my 1 week stay. The internet access was first enough to stream videos. I did not eat breakfast but there is a restaurant/cafe next to the hotel. I ate there all week. The reception was nice and responsive. A dry cleaning service is available. I will come back.

It was not as far from the airport, and the facilities were about 4 star. The bed was comfortable. It was not noisy but with good views and the muezzin early morning was nice to hear from outside. The AC was good. Hot water and ameninites. Clean kettle. ... 1. I suggest them to drop the idea of airport shuttle service. They barely could be located at the airport and as I already was forced to pay money to different people to guide me around there and to the shuttle, it was not a happy situation... Finally we arrived, then the receptionist wanted to convince me about their messages about the transfer to me which actually never arrived... But, at least they did not ask for extra money for their 'free' shuttle, still. Then they just promised that the return will be managed, but in the morning they did simply told me to call a cab, and wanted local money (which I did not have), so told them that ok, call a taxi and I will deal with the driver. Did that, it was a nice drive however for 20 USD. So, just rely on any taxi and get that yourself, and don't ask for the 'free' shuttle. 2. Some other points: there was no litter bin in the room. First time I had to put all my trash onto a table into a small corner... No other chance. 3. Last point: English is not that spoken (or maybe for money, it is), but a 4 star might have these skills anyways. The price and the rating and the services were not really at the same level here, that is for sure. PS: Friendly note: to change the default password of the voip phones. I found that while simply wanted to set the alarm function for the morning. I did not change it's system and config but I suggest the staff to take care of those phones because other guests may not be so nice not to use that for personal stuff or open a free line for themselves. At least, be aware if anything strange happens on the phone line anytime, that is more likely because of this ITsec issue.
