The resort is 1 km from the picturesque private beach which can be reached via a path that crosses the centuries-old pine forest or with the shuttle train. In some periods the currents cause reductions in the coastline and sand and stone shores (shoes may be necessary). Beach towel included and eco tax for the change. Well managed facility, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, free parking. Little entertainment, but simple piano bar by the pool in the evening. You need to be careful because in crowded periods the beach has few umbrellas and you risk not finding a place. The shuttle is convenient, but the route to follow on foot is also beautiful. On the beach there is a bar for breakfast and fruit, which is really convenient. To return!

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 31/05 al 02/06 tutto perfetto, dall’organizzazione impeccabile, al servizio, alla disponibilità del personale, al cibo, alla piscina, al servizio navetta e ombrellone in spiaggia. Unica pecca, la pulizia della stanza, che presentava diversi capelli sparsi per la stanza e soprattutto in bagno e un tanfo (non profumo biancheria) sugli asciugamani doccia, risolto con il cambio degli stessi, oltre lo scorrere dell’acqua nel lavabo in bagno molto fiebile e lento.
A parte questi problemi, risolvibili, il soggiorno è stato molto bello.

The hotel is located in a quiet location near the nice hotel beach, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, but you can also use the shuttle service by train or minibus. The entire coast is also beautiful for walks, you can find many places for private swimming. The hotel pool was a great retreat for us after returning from the sea. A sufficiently large pool for adults is complemented by a children's pool. There is also a bar with pleasant service. In general, all employees were extremely nice and helpful. Nothing was a problem, except for the English of some, but it doesn't matter. We have always come to an agreement somehow. The rooms are pleasantly spacious, including a terrace. Everything clean and regular cleaning perfectly fine. If something did not work as it should, it was enough to go to the reception and a solution was immediately sought. The kitchen was a separate chapter. For us Central Europeans, it meant a very high standard and a wonderful introduction to the local cuisine. There was always plenty to choose from and the food served was no problem. In the end, we found it more cultural to get loaded from the waiter than the sometimes too wild buffet system. We definitely recommend renting a car and getting to know the surrounding area and using the hotel as a retreat for quieter days. Half board was therefore more than enough for us and we managed to visit nearby Otranto, wonderful Lecce and Gallipoli. Overall, thanks to the VOI Hotel Daniel Essentia and his staff (the latter must be emphasized), we had a wonderful vacation full of peace, beautiful surroundings, clean sea and excellent culinary experiences. We would love to come back sometime.

You gotta simply love this place.❤️ Nice and clean rooms, large pool,the resort is not overcrowded with lots of people even must be about 200 rooms. The restaurant is on very high standard, the food is just fine. All staff is very friendly and helpfull. Private beach with it's own shuttle and lot of extras is a plus. We enjoyed our holiday at the fullest and would stay at this place again. Highly recommended for everyone.

This is our second stay at the hotel. The food continues to be of the highest standard and rooms are comfortable and pleasantly decorated in creams and blue. The cleaning staff are to be commended particularly, as the hotel facilities are immaculate. The hotel has invested in an entertainment company who run the kids club and activities. These people are all well trained and not intrusive, should you not wish to join in. The Pilate's/ Yoga classes are led by Massimo who is excellent. Although we did not need the kids club as our ' children' are in their twenties, I was really impressed by the care and attention given to their charges and the obvious enjoyment shared by all the little ones. This is a great hotel with a large pool, a kids pool and a private beach. There are always plenty of loungers available and the hotel and pool never feel crowded. Otranto is about 15 minutes drive by car and is a beautiful fortress town with lots of small shops and restaurants. The hotel is a perfect place to relax with genuinely pleasant staff.

Ottima struttura ben curata e pulita Immersa nel verde . Personale gentile e attento sia in sala che fuori ( nessuno escluso) ! Ottimo buffet servito con varietà di portate griglieria aperta pranzo e cena Bella piscina come pure gli spazi aperti Camere pulite e ariose con balcone attrezzato. Mare a 1km circa dalla struttura ma facilmente raggiungibile tramite bus navetta o piacevole passeggiata immersa nel verde Teli mare in dotazione e bar al mare ben fornito Bella spiaggia attrezzata e mare cristallino! Ottimo punto di partenza x visitare luoghi d’interesse Consigliato

Posto ideale per rilassarsi, mangiare bene e godersi il mare. Non è un villaggio e quindi non aspettatevi cose da villaggio. Se volete stare tranquilli lo potete fare. Se cercate qualche attività potete chiedere ai ragazzi dell'animazione, primo fra tutti Micheal. Fatevi anche fare qualche foto dalla dolcissima Erika.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per un periodo di due settimane con la mia famiglia (2 adulti e 1 bimba di 11 mesi). È stata una esperienza "top" e bellissima. Per nostra figlia abbiamo scelto per la prima volta un formato "Struttura con piscina, mare e 1/2 pensione". Lo staff (dall'animazione, alla sala al bar) molto gentile e accogliente, sempre disponibile per ogni esigenza! Animazione per ogni gusto; Baby-Dance, Pool- e Mare-Fitness.Molto professionale. Thaina, Elena e Erika sono bravissime e simpaticissime! Anche il Team Bar & Sala con Manuel, Marco, Simone, Salvo, Anthony e tutti gli altri bravissimi e sempre attenti per ogni desiderio o richiesta. Struttura comoda anche per arrivare in spiaggia tramite trenino. Spiaggia privata molto bella, ben attrezzata e ben tenuta. Otranto, Torre dell'Orso, San Andrea, Melendugno e Roca Vecchia raggiungibili in pochi minuti d'auto. La nostra prossima scelta? Definitivamente di nuovo un VOI!
