The small hotel is located on the Rue de la Gare, about 2 blocks from the port and the Villa Close. The hotel provides secure parking in a small gated lot across the street. Another review mentioned "recently refurbished", it seemed almost new to me it was so clean and neat. The furnishings were of high quality (multiple pillows, duvet, excellent mattress) and the basics (storage, writing desk--with 2(!) free outlets!) were modern and functional. The bathroom had a full bath and shower attachment with a splash screen for the shower. The WiFi signal was strong in the room as well as elsewhere. There is a fitness room on the 1st floor, but I did not use it. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful, even for those with morning grumpiness, and I was able to get granola and yogurt--something often unavailable in traditional French hotel breakfast rooms. The orange juicer machine must be seen to be believed. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating, with good recommendations for restaurants. Although the hotel fronts on a busy street, the double-glazed, fully functional window, and the electronically operated roll-down screen completely blocked any traffic noise, including the angry wasp noise of scooters. You may be able to book directly with the hotel for less than the online hotel services, but it was very reasonably priced when I booked it online. Easy walking distance to the Villa Close, restaurants, and the port and away from the noise and bustle of the pedestrian and market area there.

Perfect stay. Convenient location, welcoming hosts, easy parking over the road, breakfast isn’t wide ranging but something for everybody and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a family room for a few days. Easily fitted the four of us with a generous amount of space for a single, and two double beds (one was a smaller double) With enough room to walk around. Nothing premium, but Everything was clean and functional, tea and coffee in the room, Shutters and air con are a bonus on hot days! Nice little outside terrace to take a drink back to…Good value in comparison. It is on the main road, great for location, but can carry some noise (we didn’t mind, but I know this is important to some) Lovely walk with children through the park, past a playground and down to the beach.

After reading the reviews I chose this hotel the welcome is perfect smiling and available for the young girl my room is clean bedding good towels very white Being on the street side well soundproofed The breakfast remains correct On the other hand what is a shame is the temperature too low which is impossible to regulate I had to sleep with sweater and socks it is so cold and a smell in the room very unpleasant

We come to Concarneau almost every year and have already stayed at this hotel which we found beautiful, comfortable, modern, well-equipped and with a warm and professional welcome. When we arrived (mid-April 2012), big surprise: the facade had completely changed. We wondered if it was still the same establishment. Very original and very design. We are more used to seeing that in big cities, for Concarneau, a facade with a plant wall, it was daring and the result is successful. The surprises continued until our room: everything is new at the reception, in the corridors and the rooms are downright luxurious for a hotel of this category. Many appreciable strong points: sober and warm colors (it is design but not cold), lots of points of light, the air conditioning (phew, not noisy), super comfortable bedding. We were overlooking the street and very good soundproofing. The breakfast is perfect. Perhaps the hotel has changed owners? Well no! always the same people, and always so friendly and welcoming! Well, if everything had been perfect, I could have enjoyed the fitness room, which from memory was well equipped... but the work was not yet completely finished. It will be for next time! Because it is obvious that we will come back.

We had chosen a standard room with shower which is their first price, the whole is rather small but well arranged without loss of space, maybe enough for a W-K but otherwise you can choose the more spacious ones and having a bathtub. The room is bright, clean, with a large bed (comfortable), courtesy tray, hair dryer, safety deposit box, reversible air conditioning, electric shutter plus blackout curtain, for those who like to sleep in the dark it is perfect. You are in the city, so in the morning you have to count on the noise of the street, but nothing prohibitive, especially since the window has double glazing. The buffet breakfast is quite correct and complete, very good revisited jam (my favorite pear / chili) fruit juices and hot drinks are served at the table by a smiling and very pleasant staff. The owners come to greet you and are available to give you some advice for visiting the city and the region, so do not hesitate to ask the manager who is inexhaustible on the history of her city, thank you for her shared knowledge.
