Popular Conversano 4-star Hotels

I stayed at Hotel Corte Altavilla from June 10th to June 12th, 2024, during a business trip, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Conversano, making it convenient to explore the charming town. The ambiance of Corte Altavilla is exceptional, with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The staff were accommodating and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. My room was well-appointed, and clean, and offered a peaceful retreat after a busy day of meetings.

La struttura è bella, ben tenuta, con spazi comuni ampi e puliti e con disponibilità di un vasto parcheggio recintato ma non custodito. Anche la piscina è ben tenuta e con ampia disponibilità di lettini e ombrelloni. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e con climatizzazione parzialmente indipendente; in bagno ci sono gli spazi giusti per l’indispensabile. Ciò che non regge il confronto con tutto questo è la colazione, che mostra notevoli lacune per quanto concerne la varietà dei prodotti disponibili; oltretutto, alla nostra richiesta di una spremuta di arance ci è stato risposto che era necessario pagare un supplemento. Il personale si mostra disponibile e cortese mentre ci ha meravigliato in negativo l’atteggiamento di un’addetta alla reception che, al nostro rientro in albergo intorno alle 21.30 in una hall deserta, non ci ha degnato né di uno sguardo né di un saluto ed è rimasta immersa nella consultazione del suo smartphone.

Notre séjour du 01/05 au 07/05, un accueille très souriante qui nous à mis tout à fait alaises car ne parlent pas Italien ni anglais pourrez nous provoquer une barrière « notre langue Portugais / Français, chambre d’une propreté irréprochable et confortable même si nous avons pris la plus petite situé au milieu des champs dans une propriété merveilleuse avec une jolie piscine à environ 4 Km de la ville la plus proche Restauration, on à diner 2 fois pendant notre séjour que dire ? Merveilleux digne d’un restaurant étoilé des plats avec des produits de la ferme confectionnées par un très bon chef et servis par les charmants hôtes toujours nous présentent la confection, le petit déjeuner très correcte aussi, dont je donne une note général de 10/10 et je recommande vivement. Il nostro soggiorno dal 01/05 al 07/05, un'accoglienza molto sorridente che ci ha messo abbastanza a nostro agio perché non parliamo italiano o inglese potrebbe crearci una barriera ”la nostra lingua portoghese / francese, camera impeccabilmente pulita e confortevole anche se abbiamo preso la più piccola uno situato in mezzo ai campi in una splendida proprietà con una bella piscina a circa 4 km dal centro abitato più vicino Catering, abbiamo cenato due volte durante il nostro soggiorno, che dire? Meraviglioso degno di un ristorante stellato, piatti con prodotti aziendali realizzati da un bravissimo chef e serviti dai simpaticissimi padroni di casa che ci presentano sempre la preparazione, anche la colazione molto corretta, alla quale do un voto complessivo di 10/10 e mi altamente raccomandato.

This is a really tired and dated hotel by today's standards. Externally it looks great, but internally it is very basic. A few details about our room; Hardly any plug sockets Air con either on or off (no options) Wifi wasn’t working in bedroom, only reception/dining room (Room 206) TV not working. Asked twice - fixed 2 days later. No wifi so no Netflix etc. Noisy fridge all day/night Shower jets don’t work but instant hot water Other points; Very basic breakfast - don’t expect eggs of any kind! Remote location - a car is essential All staff speak very limited English, if any No one at reception Sunday evening or at 7am next morning. The breakfast guy took 1/2 hour to check us out due to the language barrier. Swimming caps needed for hotel pool €4 each from reception Best bits; The restaurant was amazing. Fabulous food and wine. We were given free 5-course meal on arrival (drinks not included). Lovely pool. Gets noisy though when the local kids arrive. Suggestion for hotel; Provide some guidance for international guests in the form of a small booklet (in a few languages) in each room.
