Bunkhouse Motel

If you’re looking for a Motel with a clean bed and hot shower to retire to after a day of exploring…. Then this is the place. Daniel, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Our room included tea and coffee supplies, a small fridge, microwave and toaster. Short easy walk to restaurants, pub and township. The bunk house is a work in progress with rooms being modernised. Another guest described it as ‘Quaint’ We will return.

My wife and I normally stay here on the way to a ski holiday in Perisher. The rooms are basic, but all we want is a bed and shower, so it serves the purpose. Don't expect luxury. It would make a significant difference to have drinking glasses, and a couple of plates in the room, and that's one thing that puts us off. For example, we usually just want a quick takeaway dinner before sleep, but it limits us to something like pizza. Why they supply knife and fork, but no plates, is a mystery. It's low cost, and you get what you pay for. It's good enough for use, a night before a luxury ski resort holiday.

The location of this motel is quite near to eateries and accessible to supermarket. When we reached the motel, it say that it is closed and we have to call the number and someone open up the door for us. The room door is a bit out of alignment as it is dragging the floor and hard to push or pull. The wifi is slow and not stable, but overall the rooms are clean and bed is comfortable and cosy. Room come with television.
