We have been camping in this beautiful location for the past five years. Prior to being bought by Sun Outdoors, this was a charming, well-run facility with owners who truly cared about delivering the best recreational experience possible. Since the acquisition by Sun Outdoors, we feel the experience has gone downhill, despite the large corporate capital investment in restrooms, WiFi, and high-end cabins (for which there is a two-night minimum totaling over $400). The on-site crew is cheery and helpful, but overworked due to understaffing, so they close early and often. The "free WiFi" is totally useless, and the Premium WiFi, offered by a very user-unfriendly third-party, is spotty and difficult to initiate. We don't go on vacation to use the Internet, BUT, if you are going to advertise it as an amenity (and attractive to those who might HAVE to use it for work while the rest of the family plays), you need to know it sucks. The cost of staying here has doubled in the past five years, and that is NOT all due to inflation. Overall, I don't think we'll be coming back any time soon.
