Kilmacale is a wonderful accommodation and base for visiting the Kinsale-Timoleague area. The B&B was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well located in a lovely rural setting with bay views, and the hospitality was excellent. The rooms were large with a nice bathroom. The owners are fine hosts. Joan cooked up delicious breakfasts that included Clonakilty pudding. The location is convenient to Clonakilty, Kinsale, and various sites of interest and dining. Not to be missed is the nearby restaurant in Timoleague—Monks Lane.

What a wonderful place to stay, so comfortable and with the most amazing breakfast. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the water, kettle with tea ,coffee and milk, hot chocolate and biscuits. There was also a hairdryer to use. Joan was very attentive and looked after us very well. It is a wonderful place to relax and to go off sightseeing.We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and our chats with Joan and Michael, oh and wonderful apple pie with cream. We did not want to leave after our 6 nights there.

The b&b is cozy, clean, nice rooms, good facilities with a great atmosphere. Free and safe parking in front of the house. It has an amazing view and great breakfast! I don't remember the name of the lady owner but she was so loving and friendly. Thank you very much!

If we could, we would have stayed a week, just so we could soak up that fabulous view every day. The breakfast was wonderful as well, the house and the hospitality and the hostess, Joan, were all just grand!! Kilmacale House B & B is a true jewel.
