Very nice property, clean and quiet. Let down by there being no sheer curtains on the windows which significantly reduced sense of privacy as on the ground floor.

Not walkable to downtown Cork but nevertheless it was an oasis. The grounds are beautiful and lush it felt like being in a fairy garden. Rooms were comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Service was top notch and so friendly. Would stay here over and over.

Disappointing Stay
This hotel did not live up to expectations. Breakfast was poor—eggs Benedict tasted of vinegar, the hollandaise seemed premade, and there was no mineral water at the buffet. Very cheap approach to breakfast, especially in this hotel category. The rest of the buffet was limited to low-quality cereal and pastries, and the coffee was bitter and undrinkable.
Our deluxe room had a squeaky, slippery wooden floor that felt unsafe, and the bed was one of the worst we had in Ireland. The whole place felt outdated and tired.
To make matters worse, the photos online seem heavily photoshopped. The hotel looks far better in pictures than it does in reality. For the price, the value just isn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend.

This hotel is a bit outside the city center so if you plan to go there and have a pint, taxi is about 20.30 EUR each way.

Excellent staff, beautiful grounds and on site restaurants. Rooms included comfy Premium bedding and amenities. The hotel was close to various attractions but felt secluded from noisy areas.

We arrived for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a top room as it happen to be available. We will always cherish this time at the Marysborough Hotel!
