The best hotel in Cork, but unfortunately it is a bit far from the city center, more than 3 kilometers to the train station, and it is not very convenient to take the bus. The room area is not very large, and the room facilities are quite complete. The hotel service is very good, and it can respond quickly. When checking out, they also extended the room. The hotel breakfast is in the form of ordering and buffet, but the variety of buffet is very limited, but the taste of the order is very good.
Check into the room, there was a hole in the throw at the bottom of the bed. The handle in the window was falling off. When for a shower then it was going from hot to cold. I opened the drawer for the hair dryer it was full of hair. We went for food then, the food was good, bar staff was nice. Next morning we went for breakfast, we waited over 30 mins for our breakfast to come down even do the restaurant was very quite. We both ordered scrambled egg with hash brown and rashers. When it eventually arrived we got two bowls of scrambled egg and poached egg and hash brown on one plate. We said we didn't order this and the waiter say ye will have this. I said no we order rashers and hash brown. She insisted we take it. We asked for a manager. She said she was very sorry and we would be compensated . We check out, the manager told us it didn't go through in fist transaction. It went through second time we check the receipt it said €40We found out later that evening we had been charged 20. We rang for them to say this and she said she charged us 20 by mistake. But the breakfast was 10 each so that why we got 40 back. Alot of mistakes, by Alot of staff and noone taken responsibility if you ask me.

Our room was comfortable. It was a good size, modern decor, and modern bathroom fixtures with a large tiled shower stall. The hotel had 2 elevators. activated by room keys. This hotel chain prefers jars of Body Wash to soap. Not having an iphone, I appreciated using the computer in their business room to do emails. There isn't really a lobby area at the entrance, but the cocktail and bar lounge, connected to a small dining area, serve as sitting areas when waiting for others. We arrived tired from a day of travel so we were delighted to eat in the hotel's dining room for an evening meal rather than go exploring for a restaurant. The prices for evening meals in the hotel cafe were reasonable with a discount offered on 2 and 3 courses. The Bacon and Chicken Salad (15E) I ordered was delicious and dinner size, and desserts like Eton Mess were around 6.75E. During the day, the hotel has a coffee shop (scones 3E) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Could take away the pastries and enjoy them in the room where coffee and tea and kettle were free to use. No bakery shop was nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the English Market (a bakery counter here) and shopping streets like St. Patrick's Street. For us, it was a good choice for an overnight stay with Insight coach tours.

I have just check out yesterday and the hotel is lovely and the lobby is beautiful will a lot of space to take a seat and relax. This hotel also has no shortage of car parking spaces surrounding the building. We had booked a interconnecting room for 5 Ladies which is ideal for friends going for a night away. We had arrived before check in not expecting our rooms to be ready but to just leave our cars and head into town. The gentleman on reception was fantastic ( I'm so sorry for not remembering his name) he was able to check us in to one of our rooms early and send up a few drinks for us which was amazing and really set our stay up the right way. he also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks in the city which really helped. The rooms where spotless and we had nothing to complain about here. The beds are very comfortable. I also liked that the bathrooms have the bath and shower separate. the rooms are very quiet also which helped with getting some sleep. The breakfast was the only thing I would say was only ok. The only option for hot breakfast was Porridge or Full Irish which I thought was a bit limited. With it still being table service in this hotel, which I don't have a problem with, the server we had had forgot one or two things we asked for and we had to ask again. Some items we then received some we didn't. This still would not stop me from staying again. We had a very fun, comfortable, easy, friendly stay here and I would recommend this hotel to friends/family.
The Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

Excellent
GGuest UserGreat location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.
GGuest UserRachel at reception saved our vacation to Cork! Upon arrival to Cork, our airbnb had visible mold and smelled of mildew. Even though the Jury's Inn was fully booked, she helped us try to find a new location. After spending time in your lobby, Rachel rushed out to tell us there was a cancelation! Not only did she help us get a room, she provided complimentary drinks for ”our rough day”. I can't say enough good things about how caring Rachel was through the entire process. Thank you Rachel and Jury's Inn!
I'm not sure i am the target demographic for this hotel, but i did thoroughly enjoy my stay. Quirky and ”photogenic”, this hotel is an amazing experience. Staff are outstanding, polite, and helpful. Rooms are clean and bright. Modern and aesthetically prominent, i would definitely recommend this hotel for a break of a day or two. From the swings in the lobby, to the quirky cards on the bed and door hangers, there was definitely an air of fun meets serious. My only real complaint was that there is nowhere to put your clothes. I was there for work for four days, and had four coat hangers. Apart from this, excellent experience. highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.
GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.
I will return for sure.
MMa Ka ChuenThis hotel is located in the heart of Cork, making it a convenient choice for travelers. As a new establishment, it boasts a clean and comfortable environment, ensuring a pleasant stay. Premier Inn consistently offers affordable rates, making it an excellent option for those on a budget. I had a great experience during my visit and will definitely choose to stay here again when I return to Cork in the future. The combination of its prime location, modern amenities, and reasonable pricing makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting the area.
GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out.

GGuest UserI got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.
When we arrived, the outside appearance did not bode well, however, once inside we were greeted by a very nice young lady who showed us to our rooms. We both had rooms with stunning views over the falls, very clean, tidy, comfortable and warm. The food was really lovely, although not too great a choice for a veggie, however, John was really friendly and entertaining! There was a young man singing and playing guitar the first evening, he was really good and we joined in! Breakfast in the morning was again a wee bit disappointing for a veggie, great for carnivores though! John's service again was really great, giving out ideas of where to visit etc. Our meal the next evening was also very good and then we had the experience of a lot of older people descending into the pub. What a night!!! The couples were Irish dancing and we were really exhausted just watching them, they never really sat down! We were asked to join in, we would not have been able to keep up with them all! Our relatives went up to bed and we stayed down to watch them, however, we had to call it a day and they were all still going!!! They did not even make a noise when leaving! Breakfast again in the morning was good and John very attentive. The only one niggle we had, was a dog barking in the room next to our relatives room, which did disturb them a wee bit. This was one of our favourite hotels during our stay in Ireland and would definitely stay again.
The experience from entering reception to departure was second to none. Yes there are fancier hotels but your establishment had something special. staff were friendly, helpful and excellent to deal with. I had a super hot plate of lamb in your bar washed down with two nice beers. Rooms were comfortable clean and quiet. Breakfast at 7.00 was just what I needed for the day ahead. I hope to be back again as I pass through Mallow. Thank you for upholding the small family hotel experience.
