We stayed here for 3 nights, and couldn't have been happier. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub where always clean and very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, eggs, meat, waffles, yourgart, fruit, toast, bagels and cereal. We highly recommend and we will stay here again, if ever down here again.

I understand that loss of occupancy during covid might have taken a toll on some hotels. I'm assuming that's the reason the owners of this hotel haven't put any funds into improvements - wallpaper in all hallways and the rooms is peeling - it's been reglued (not very well) and stapled in so many locations - it just looks gross. The elevators aren't very clean. Carpet and furniture are dated. Towels are thin. Our bathroom had mold, even though they'd tried to paint over some of it. The lighting in the rooms is too dim, and there's an outlet only on one side of the bed. TV is old but big. There's a microwave, which is nice, but it will take 4x the normal time to heat something. Also a refrigerator in the room. Coffee pods didn't fit into the machine but still worked (still not great coffee - we went out for it). Front desk staff was friendly. We slept ok as long as we cooled the room before bed then turned off the in-room AC unit before we went to sleep. Breakfast was typical (yuck - didn't even bother). Pool area didn't seem too bad. We needed a hotel in this area and this one had the best reviews; I'm not sure why. But if it's the best one, I'd hate to see the others. If we had to come to this area again, we would look for something better, even if it was an extra 10-15 minute drive.
