Residence Inn Corpus Christi Downtown

I highly recommend this property Such amazing service from front desk agent Samantha made me feel so welcome. Thank you for everything you done for me and my family making us feel so special. This property is located in the city Bay Area The rooms are super clean and outstanding, Housekeeping and front desk Service is top notch makes us feel so comfortable. Bar area is fantastic pool is beautiful Free breakfast in morning food is so delicious. I'm so glad l have found a place who knows how to treat their guest with the best. Thank you for all your hard work I will be returning again.

My husband stays here for business trips and I was there to visit and check out Corpus Christi. The positives —- very nice staff in all areas (front desk, breakfast area, bar, cleaning), excellent location along shoreline, good air conditioning, quiet rooms and hallways, breakfast included with hot and cold options, decent breakfast area, very nice pool area. The negatives —— lack of/no towels at the pool despite several requests to front desk, VERY infrequent room cleaning (seems to be once a week only unless you complain or ask so of course towels don’t get changed and beds don’t get made), poor cleaning (dried soap all over bathroom counter, backsplash and wall), carpets feel grimy (there are dogs all over hotel so bound to be animal dirt and fluids ground in everywhere), strange assortment of dishes (one wine glass, one coffee cup), extremely poor lighting everywhere in the room (impossible to do your makeup unless standing beside an open window during full daylight). Marriott hotels have the potential to be great hotels, but shabby rooms and substandard cleaning practices greatly downgrade the quality and customer satisfaction.

Skip this hotel. It looks like it would be nice because it’s in a good location and it’s a newer hotel but the staff has an awful attitude and they have a serious roach infestation. We stayed for one night. We killed 10 roaches within 5 minutes. They were coming in through the night stand and crawling on the beds. They were also on the counters in the kitchen. I called the front desk to tell them we had a roach crawl across our bed and he could have cared less. He said there was nothing they could do. We ended up checking out at 1am in our pajamas because there were so many. Again, told the front desk why we were checking out and go no response, no apology. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I booked and prepaid for a suite with an ocean view in February for Easter. When we got there I was told they were “sold out” and did we want just a regular room. Ended up getting a suite across from a rehab hospital. A few minutes later they called re my credit card, they had a “power outage” etc. I got scammed. I alerted the front desk when I became suspicious and to alert others. No follow up. Won’t stay there again.

What a great hotel! Staff, including maintenance and cleaning, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well managed. The room was clean and had a good bed. The only problem with this trip was the fact that there was street racing going on out front on Shoreline Blvd. Not just one or two, but over and over till about 2 in the morning...every 15 seconds or so...cars racing by. Incredibly loud and impossible to sleep. I was on the fourth floor, and it was like I was out on the street. I kept waiting to hear a siren but none came. If Corpus Christi continues to strive to be a city based on the model of the south side of San Antonio, it's tourism business will continue to sputter. None of this is the fault of the Residence Inn. They were great. It's just the city that needs to get on the ball.

The worst management ever I complained about a bad bed and the manager said they can not do anything They liw about occupancy Rooms are not cleaned until late in the day.. After 7 pm Just garbage .. not a Marriott .. I booked 7 night and I was planning to stay for 12 bur checked our after 3 Stay away
