Highly recommend ! "The Monteray Motel Padre Island Corpus Christi, a cozy little motel very close to the Corpus Christi beaches. It's a great affordable central location to explore the Padre National Seashore & also close enough to go explore all Port Aransas has to offer ! Smooth check-in ! Clean ,plenty of hot water,, fresh clean towels and linens ! Clean microwave,ice cold refrigerator & air conditioner worked great !The staff was very kind & made sure my stay was comfortable . I will definitely book here again !

Who can we call about the staff calling one of our professional workers a "wet back"? They are so upset. We had paid online for 2 rooms and all was ok until they showed up and faced discrimination. We did get a refund but feel more needs to be done to remedy this unfortunate situation.

It took them one hour to check us in because they “could not find my reservation” booked through Priceline even though I gave them my confirmation number and my ID. I found 8 big flying roaches half alive in the room and bathroom. There were no bedside lamps, the wall had white patches that needed to be painted. I could not wait to get out of there. The AC unit was extremely loud.

Was ABOUT to stay…. Had found a cute reasonably priced bungalow here on another site at this hotel. I paid the deposit etc. called the next day to confirm because my stay is a month, only to have the desk clerk immediately YELL AT ME!! He couldn’t spell my very common name correctly so he was having trouble finding me in the system. I remained calm, but he was certainly not. I could tell he was used to being ugly with people and getting away with it. They have the best location after all for a dump, and people will pay! I called the vacation company and got all my money back including the cancellation fee! After reading reviews after that happened to me (should have done that first 🙄) I’m scared to stay there anyway, the desk clerks horrible rude attitude confirmed that the reviews are mostly likely spot on. I will NEVER consider staying there. So sad, such a perfect location! What a waste of real estate! They need to FIRE THAT DESK CLERK.

I came here after my vehicle broke down. They denied my VA ID even after I told them I was 100 percent disabled veteran. Ended up sleeping outside at the church across the street. Please don’t give them your business
