Park Farm Barn

An experience to remember Set in a rural location and close to Castle Comb, Lacock and other places of interest, Farm Park Barn is a beautiful place to be. We came from Moonraker in Strattford Upon Avon, an extremely small place and arriving there was the start of a very different experience for the same price. We were greeted by Terry, a very friendly and pleasant man and shared breakfast with another equally pleasant guest. The next day Kate, his wife, was equally as nice and we were able to chat a lot with her. The place is well appointed, bright, spacious, quiet and it was a pleasure to stay there for three nights. We were sorry to have to leave. We bought some delicious pick-nick food from a lady at Castle Comb who served us dinner and from the Bed and Breakfast we also went to nearby Bath. I would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful ‘off grid escape break’ here. Kate was the best host, really great communication and excellent recommendations of where to visit, done and see. Breakfast was wonderful; cereals, lots of berries, yogurt, fresh baked pastries, toast and local eggs. One day we had some lovely fresh melon and another meats and cheeses. Fresh coffee & juices every morning too. We stayed in the loft, which was so spacious and just perfect with the handy fridge and kitchen area. It was light and airy but cosy too. Just perfect. Warm well furnished accommodation in a lovely quiet location. Perfectly placed for visiting Bath, Laycock and other surrounding areas. Everything thing was provided for a perfect stay to include some lovely fudge! Also a lovely breakfast served up by the charming host where nothing was too much trouble.

We had booked to stay at Park Farm Barn over Easter. When we booked it, I emailed the owner just to check our booking but had no reply so I messaged her through their website but still didn't get a reply so I called and left two messages. Still no reply. I emailed again saying that if they did not respond we would cancel our booking. We cancelled our booking!! We never heard back from Park Farm Barn at all.

A beautiful place to stay on the countryside. Peaceful and welcoming. Kate is a perfect hostess, breakfast was opulent and tasty. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend this b&b and will be back for sure.

This is up there with the best B&Bs that we have stayed in. It is simply faultless. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were kept well stocked with a wide range of drinks and snacks and local fudge as well. The surrounds and the gardens were really lovely. Breakfast was excellent. A typical full English breakfast with a range of cereals and fruit and yoghurt available as well. The cooked breakfast was beautifully prepared and, once again, quality shone through. Kate is a brilliant hostess who ensures that you are comfortable and have everything that you need without being overbearing. Happy to offer advice about how to get to places and to make the most of your stay. If you are planning a visit to the area then you will not find a better place to stay and I am really glad that we found this accommodation for our recent 4 day trip.
