Best thing going for this hotel is location.Pool area nice,plenty of sun beds.Breakfast was good although I didn’t have cooked.Nice pillows.Room cleaned daily. Downside …. No atmosphere at all,no proper bar no entertainment.No one speaks and we are very social people. We were down in the basement with the smelly drains and cockroaches. Evening meal don’t bother there’s loads of restaurants nearby. We would not return.

The location of these apartments is brilliant. We absolutely loved sitting on the balcony with a wonderful view and people watching as it’s right in the middle of all the action but still very quiet. The pool was freezing but it was November. The snack bar was great value and plenty of seating/sunbeds. The communal areas are well kept and the apartments were a great size.

Lovely stay here. We came for a week. Had a huge apartment. I was a bit put out at first cos it was in the lower ground, but it was HUGE! 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, big living area and a huge balcony. It was really clean. Had everything you’d need. Location is fab. Right in the centre. 2 min walk to bars and restaurants. You can walk to Las Americas along the costal path and the other way to La Caleta, again in the coastal path. The pool area is lovely and they have a massive sun terrace with loads of loungers. Really quiet and chilled ( we were obviously out of school holidays) so only probably saw a couple of small children the whole time. It was very quiet on terrace. Food - we were B&B and it was lovely. Lots of choice. Cooked breakfast lovely and all the usual other stuff. Just a small ish room so gets busy. Best time we found was 9.30. It finishes at 10.30. All the staff were nice. We had a full kitchen and made sandwiches and had drinks in the fridge. We ate at the pool bar once or twice and it was nice. Cheap too. This was our first time in Costa Adeje and we’d def come back to Sol Sun xxx

What a difference the renovated apartments make ….( we’ve stayed here before and said we wouldn’t come back , despite the location &friendly staff) we are staying in newly renovated pool view 1 bed apartment and I can hardly fault it …. Sun on terrace all day … bathroom very clean with a powerful shower, handwash, shower gel and shampoo in full size bottles , a large flat screen tv that supports our fire stick , the beds are comfy, plenty of hanging and drawer space , two mirrors … with a ceiling fan that is ever so quiet and cools the room down, aircon is in the living room. The small kitchenette if you want to cook … two electric rings , microwave …. I personally would have installed a microwave with a grill and oven … there’s a full size fridge , again I would have preferred a freezer box inside the fridge for making ice … breakfast is breakfast in Tenerife …There are plenty of sunbeds scattered over large areas and pool towels can be hired from reception . There is a laundry room with large washing machines 5 € and a large dryer 4€……

We arrived with jet2 on Boxing Day. We had a private transfer and was dropped off on the top road. We couldn’t find the entrance to start with but my daughter spotted a sign down the hill towards the sea. Reception was clean and tidy and looked lovely with the Christmas decorations. We booked a one bedroom apartment for the 3 of us. Our daughter was on the sofa bed in the lounge which looked new and was all set up with bedding. I think we were in a newly refurbished room. The bedroom was modern with touch lighting which we struggled to turn off a few times but managed. The beds and pillows were comfy. The weather was great, we were able to get sun beds on the terrace no problem everyday. We didn’t go in the pool it was freezing. The pool area would be my only complaint. The tiling was broken around the pool in areas so that needs looking at. We were bed and breakfast. It was fine, not amazing but you could always find something. Cooked breakfast, fruit and continental etc. The location was spot on. If u are looking for somewhere centrally located then it’s a perfect stay. We will be back.

Just returned from 10 days at Sol Sun Beach Apartments and have to say we had a great holiday. The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by shops bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel with big apartment kept spotlessly clean by the friendly, hard-working cleaners, along with all staff who made us most welcome - big shout out to Anna on reception who helped us out tremendously -) We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis and very tasty, well cooked food everyday. The pool is big as are the surrounding sun terraces - just loads of space to relax with great views over the sea with more than ample amount of sunbeds. Not long returned home with some relief. The cleaning staff come daily, replace the towels and clean the bathroom. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the oven didn't work, the fridge did work but is clearly old and rusty, cockroaches daily, poor view from the room which didn't matter as the chairs are not comfortable, only found 2 English speaking channel on the TV, few positives the reception staff are pleasant and polite, the breakfast is nice. Unfortunately that's it. No entertainment, main bar closed, I could go on but won't easy to say I will not return here nor recommend.

Our fifth visit to Sol Sun Beach. A very spacious pool and sun bathing area is a feature. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It’s close to many restaurants and 5 minutes from the beach. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had a pool view studio. The furniture and fittings are looking very tired and worn. The fridge and oven are old and more modern appliances would be welcome as would a microwave. The beds however, were comfortable and the bathroom is fine. Overall a good holiday and we hope to go again next year.
