Apartamentos Parque del Sol

We are traveling with our 8 months old baby. They prepared the baby crib when we check in. We booked half-board meal included, bfast and dinner. The service at the restaurant was fantastic.

We chose these apartments because we are familiar with the location and we weren’t disappointed, great for all the beachfront bars and restaurants. However, I did email the hotel about 1 week before we arrived asking for a room on an upper floor as I never feel totally safe on the ground floor, didn’t even receive an acknowledgement to my email and ended up in ground floor which wasn’t what I wanted. Faced onto main road so not really nice sitting on the open terrace. Room was fine, kept clean enough. Had to pay €4 per day for a safe which I think is steep! We were half board but only had evening meal the night we arrived. Service is quite late so if you have small children could be too late. Breakfast was fine no issues there. Access to the restaurant was down stairs so not great for people with pushchairs or mobility issues. Pool area was quite tight but never had any issues getting a sunbed but not sure what it would be like during school holidays, pool was lovely and warm probably the warmest pool I’ve been in, plenty of inflatables to use that had been left behind. Tiled flooring around pool very slippy, witnessed a few people slipping. Quite a lot of broken tiles too! Saw quite a few items left lying about for days ie. Towels, shoes and even empty beer cans, should have been removed by hotel staff. Pool bar not bad but can get busy and not a lot of staff manning it. Thought the place could have done with a bar which opened on an evening, reception area certainly big enough to accommodate one. Wi-Fi was hit and miss, could rarely get it in room but ok around pool when I didn’t really need it. Im not sure if I’d go back here again as I didn’t think the amenities were great but can’t fault the location.

We have recently returned from a week long holiday in half term. I visited with my husband and 2 teenage boys and can honestly say these are the best apartments we have stayed at since we started going to Tenerife 3 years ago. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and our sons loved having their own space. The apartment had everything that was needed and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. It was the largest apartment we have had in Tenerife and was spotless. The pool was lovely and warm and the hotel is in a great position close to the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. There is something for everyone in the buffet restaurant with lots of variety. We all enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely return. I need to mention Raphael (sorry if I’ve not got the name right) on reception who was lovely with us and our boys when he checked us in. We were exhausted after a full day travelling and he really made us smile with his welcome and witty comments. Thanks for a great holiday

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff throughout. Everywhere was extremely clean. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful each morning, only had two evening meals although we were half board. What we did have was lovely not a great choice in hot dishes but that's just our opinion. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Location was great, seemed a quiet area but only a five minute walk to all the bars etc. Thank you for a lovely Christmas break.

Arrived 1900 hours. Lady on reception not the friendliest. First thing she asked was for my payment as I had upgraded to a pool view room. Then she preceded to let me know about meal times, and then told me I needed to wear long trousers in the evening at the restaurant. I told her I was not informed, and she said I should have looked at the website!!!!. Then she gave me a card with our dinner time of 20.15-21.30, not the best for when you have already made plans for shows etc. So first night had to eat out. Apartment on 2nd floor, clean, but shower was awful, no power at all, then internet was very poor, told reception about internet and shower and said they would get a technician to look, still waiting, internet poor all through the week.!!! Next day bought some long trousers, shouldn't have bothered, evening meal was awful, went in at 20.30 hours, not much choice, there were spare ribs at one end, 2 left in the serving dish, I asked the lady for some fresh ones, she just kept pointing to the ones that were in the dish, ended up with ham and some chips. NEVER WENT IN THERE AGAIN FOR DINNER. On leaving the restaurant, I asked the guy on the entrance, what time does it open for dinner, and he informed me 18-30 hours !!!, surely I should have had a choice. As mentioned the room was fine, the other things not fine. Checkout day, guy took my cards, he went straight to the ringing phone, never said thanks how was your stay, or anything. Poor service, he should have looked at my card to see I never used the restauraunt. This is just my honest views of my stay at this hotel.
