JOIA Salomé by Iberostar -Adults Only

We stayed here early December as a quick 4 day getaway. We hadn’t been away this time of the year so didn’t really know what to expect weather wise. Having previously been to this hotel for 10 nights we knew what to expect. It’s a very laid back vibe and perfect for a short break. We stayed B&B again as there are so many restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance. We opted for a priority location suite this time, which are situated on the top floor. The suites are quite good, with hair straighteners as well as hair dryer if you need them. Not as many toiletries etc as some hotels we’ve been to but all the stuff you need. The hotel was pretty quiet while we were there, so no problem with sun beds. The pool is 120cm deep and heated which suits my wife ! A shout out to the pool guy whose name I didn’t get but very friendly and accommodating. I would say most if not all the staff are very good. Especially the staff at breakfast. Always a smile and nothing too much trouble. My wife is Coeliac so needs to follow a gluten free diet. This was no problem here and the chef offered to make GF crepes for her too. Taittinger champagne complimentary at breakfast also, which is a nice start to the day. The view from this restaurant is also very good. You do have “butlers” who are there to help if you need anything. Jocelyn was ours and was available if we had any questions or concerns. We did have a problem with our transport being an hour early, however she managed to help with this problem. The odd cold drink and nibbles were offered throughout the day, which was a nice touch. Cava is also complimentary around the pool if that’s your tipple. We used to go into the Anthelia for evening entertainment. They have a different duo on most night in the lobby bar. A shout out to Ines who got to know our drinks order ! We would definitely return but for another short break as it is very quiet and laid back. It has many returning guests so not doing much wrong !

Vicky our lovely waitress poolside was always very happy and waited on us like royalty - thank you ! The pool area was immaculate and the food was out of this world, especially breakfast- protein shake menu, the best eggs Benedict and again, service was 10/10 I’ve been coming to this hotel on and off for 20 years - nothing else around Costa Adeje can beat it

We are sadly leaving this wonderful hotel today , I cannot fault anything . All the staff are amazing , so friendly , nothing is too much trouble . The room is decorated tastefully , bed is huge and very comfortable . Sun beds are plentiful and never had any problem getting one. The pool is at such an ambient temperature , no dreading getting your shoulders under , just get straight in ! So sad to be leaving , weather has been amazing and the sunsets from your sunbed are the best I’ve ever seen . You won’t be sorry booking here !

Perfect hotel. The staff are fantastic and always friendly. The rooms are immaculately kept. The pool is beautiful. Lovely and quiet. The food is amazing. We stayed bed and breakfast because we like to try and get out and eat when we are away. Plenty of good restaurants further up the coast in La Caleta. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will hopefully be returning next year.

My second stay at this hotel. I travel a lot to hotels in a similar price range of €500 to €600 per night, but this is one of my absolute favorites. The welcome was very friendly and genuine with a drink of your choice. The room is fine, for this price range I would expect a little more perfection, the floor is really very bad with many stains and scratches, curtains torn in several places.... However bathroom is perfect with good quality products and towels. Extensive minibar with good drinks and any changes will be made with pleasure! The real difference compared to other 5 star hotels in this class is in the staff! My favorite butler Francesso with his great service even if everything perfect, he wants to do that little bit extra. Ruth at breakfast and lunch. This woman is fantastic! Friendly, attentive, and knows her job. As the owner of two restaurants, I would like to take her on as an employee Poseidon restaurant my favorite. Good dishes led by Mr Pena, very correct and attentive. Waiter Sergio is happy to pamper you. I will be back soon, this hotel is just wonderful if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet with fantastic staff. The only downside is that rooms could use an upgrade in terms of paint, flooring and curtains

Rooms are truely sumptuous our suite in Salome was very special , the food is amazing in all restaurants, it’s all the little things like refreshments around the pool and the staff are truely wonderful they made the experience extra special especially vikki who we met at breakfast and lunchtime around the pool .we cannot wait to return
