Labranda Golden Beach Only Adults

I was a bit worried after reading some of the negative reviews but wa pleasantly suprised and please on our arrival. The atmosphere at the hotel very relaxing. We didn't feel had to rush to get table for meals. There were always sun beds available even if we didn't put towels out early like some guests. Staff in the bars and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities were good, some areas were in need of maintenance but this did not affect the enjoyment of the holiday and to be honest is expected in a busy resort that has many guests coming and going. We did see maintenance carrying out work whilst we were there. The food was good always a variety to choose from even for someone like myself who does not eat fish and is not over keen on meat there was always a variety of salad, vegetable and potato dishes to choose from. Good variety of drinks available on all inclusive option and enjoyed all the ones we tried especially the cocktails on offer, all using local spirits instead of named brands. The evening entertainment was ok, there was a variety although some were definitely better than others. The staff on reception were very welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay and I cannot fault the cleaners who did an excellent job in our room and throughout the hotel during our stay. The resort was quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday with plenty of shops nearby and a few bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. Overall it was a very enjoyable, relaxing week which was just what we wanted and needed. I would definitely return to both this hotel and other hotels within the Labranda group and recommend to others.

A lovely quiet hotel with good amenities. Close to the beach with really kind and polite staff. Yes, there are tiles missing and loose in the pool, but as with everywhere in the hotel it was very clean. Rooms were big and well equipped (if I stayed again I’d bring my own hairdryer). The buffet did change each night, but there were staples that were consistent and the Halloween additions to the decor and food were a lovely touch. Was the food 5 star? No, but we were very happy with the food and drinks on offer and we love trying new foods. The entertainment by the pool was very relaxed and the Aqua Fitness was a highlight of our trip. We felt incredibly safe and relaxed through our whole stay and although there are areas of the hotel that could be improved, most of the areas were lovely and well kept. We paid a premium as it was school holidays, but if you can avoid these times the hotel is amazing value!

We had a lovely week at the Labranda Golden Beach hotel from the 20th to the 27th of September. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and polite reception staff who checked us in without and hassle at all. We stayed in room 309 which overlooked the pool area and had a sea view. The room was quite large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was probably one of the better sleeps I have ever had in a hotel bed. The bathroom was clean and functional. With a really good shower. The restaurant area was very clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We had no issues with food during our stay. We always found something to eat and by no means was the selection repetitive. The hotel pool area is clean and we never had an issue getting a sun bed. This could be different if you visit during high season though. One slight let down is the pool itself. There are lots of loose or missing tiles at the bottom of the pool. Although it didn't stop us from using the pool it does need to be addressed before it becomes a safety hazard Costa Calma is a very quiet area. So if you are looking for clubs and night life this won't be the resort for you. However the beach is absolutely stunning. It's only a short walk from the hotel. However if you have mobility issues then you may find it hard as it's downhill. The rocks to the right hand side of the beach house a colony of red rock crabs and it's quite fascinating to see them walking around. If you want a relaxing week or two just chilling out on the beach or by the hotel pool the. This would be the place for you. Would we return to this hotel. Without doubt yes. It's clean and the hotel staff are excellent, making you feel very welcome

This hotel was fabulous, it exceeded our expectations. We arrived at 9pm and were greeted by Dagmar who was so lovely, friendly & professional. She checked us in & sent us straight to have dinner which was much needed! The restaurant- we stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast consisted of wide range from cereals, fruit, pancakes, meats, breads & various cooked items. My favourite was the Mediterranean eggs - delicious! The evening food was plentiful, a wide range of different dishes catering for most dietary requirements. Every evening there was a different theme. Tips - check the food/label with caution if you have a specific dietary requirement, I’m vegetarian and the label didn’t always relate to the item, a couple of times I nearly had meat! Also if you are half board, you need to pay for your drinks including water however you can upgrade your wristband for €5 per day to include drinks (soft drinks, beer, white/rose/red wine, coffee) it’s well worth doing. The staff are very efficient, friendly and professional - excellent service from Dagmar on reception - very knowledgeable and helped with all our queries. Javier on the bar was funny & very hard working as was his colleague. The manager was always present, very professional but friendly, appears to be very hardworking & a credit to the hotel. We only had one issue when we were there when our toilet stopped working. We reported it to reception on our way to breakfast, by time we came back the maintenance man arrived. He checked it, told me he needed a part, returned and fixed it within 15mins! Excellent service. The beach is a short walk from the hotel through the gate behind the pool which we visited numerous times during our stay. Costa calma is very quiet which is fab if you want a relaxed holiday. If you like a shopping area with an amazing beach, I would recommend a bus trip to Morro Jable - definitely worth a visit. We don’t normally return to the same place but may make an exception in this case - definitely would recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights in august & had a decent stay. Stayed in a room on 5th floor however on arrival the door lock plate was hanging and the patio door wouldn’t lock but was quickly fixed by the maintenance guy. Food was amazing along with the pool. Never had an issue with getting a sun bed and not a single person putting towels down early. Mainly german and Spanish guests.

Just back from a 10 day trip to the Golden Beach . We opted for the all inclusive package with a swim up room . Having never holidayed in Fuertaventura before , we loved the whole chill out vibe at the Golden Beach. We were slightly apprehensive about the AL package , however there was no need . We were absolutely blown away with the choice of food offers at all meal times , there was literally something for all tastes , lots of variety and it did not get boring at all. Loved the Cava option for breakfast ! Though we didn’t have any. There was a choice of wines and local beer as well as soft drinks at lunch and dinner. Food choices at breakfast included self help cereals, granolas , yoghurt, fruit , both sliced and whole , fabulous freshly baked local breads . Hot offers included bacon sausage, beans , fried eggs, omelettes made to order , local meats, churros, pancakes and cheese . Dinner offers included composite and build your own salads , pizza, items from the grill which included entrecôte steak, pork , calamari , salmon, local fish , pastas and sauces , chips and an , amazing range of deserts , ice cream and cheese. The staff were truly professional throughout and a massive shout out to the lovely , professional Restaurant Manager and his team , they literally could not do enough for you. The pool bar serves a range of tapas as well as local beer , wine and spirits , and operates from 10.30am to 6pm, despite their signage stating 10am opening , small point but you may wish to update. There is entertainment days at the pool from most around 3pm , DJs and the fantastic duo Yeni and Mr Sax , do not miss them . This couple were the Best entertainment we saw ,they also performed in the bar area at night , awesome . Loved the fact that the pool bar shuts at 6pm , being old ! Makes for a quiet evening and gosh does it not get chilly in Fuertaventura even in August. From 6.30 the upstairs bar opens and there is entertainment from around 9pm every night . This closes at 11pm . On a negative, sadly , the hotel was refurbed in 2023 and in our swim up room the workmanship was awful , leaking walk in shower which had never been sealed properly ,minging looking sealant around the shower and the leaking water has over time impacted on the integrity of the adjoining walls, creating , damp paint flaking walls , not only in our room but the whole corridor outside every room ..in addition , insufficient, non existent ventilation in the bathroom , leading to horrible smells in the bathroom. Golden Beach Management , you really need to address this . However, our room was kept clean, with fresh towels daily , replenishment of bottled water and rooms cleaned daily. And our own swim up pool was amazing, made our holiday. Be advised , the lifts are all out of order and appear to have been for some time , despite signage when we arrived stating they were being fixed on 8th August , not the case , we left on 17th and nothing had changed
