we rented out an appartment here for a little less than a week. The town is small, so i would definitely recommend having a car in this area, unless you're fine with only staying at the pool and/or beach, and staying in the immediate area for food — the area is blocked off by waterways on all sides but you can take a ferry into Isla Cristina for a few more options (also small though) We took a day trip to Sevilla and Olhao portugal from here, which were very doable. The appartment itself was fine, nothing too special. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bathroom had a smell. sadly we didn't have nice neighbours, they were Brits who played loud football games and music all day, and they didn't listen to our requests to tone it down. The staff said they couldn't help us. We were also missing linnen for one of the beds. we went to the desk a few times in the afternoon before it was finally delivered around 21:00. The pool area is nice but it depends which part of the resort your rooms are in, which pool you can use. Since we were in the appartment area, we had one pool available. The hotel had 2 + a slide, and daily dances / music to entertain the children attending. We definitely preferred our side, but the sound from the other pools was present most of the day. There's many exts and entrances to go to the beach, it's only 5 mins away, which is great.

Very satisfy!, beautifull place and great service. Allot to do closeby and to rent a car or bicecly is very easy, they wil help u with everything. Great variety in food and very nice spa!!., the beach u can go by feet and the city is not that far to.Wil return for sure!..

The entire experience is very good if you are looking for an all inclusive system. Food of the restaurant could be even better for a 5 star experience in a 4 star hotel. Clean Rooms, good variety of entertainment and an amazing staff ready to support you, always with a smile!

We was in Playamarina in June 2022. We had 3 rooms in total 6 adults and 2 kids. Pros: + rich all inclusive (good snacks, good drinks and alcohol like Malibu, Ballantines, Smirnoff, Bacardi etc.), + nice pool with slides for kids and jacuzzi, + amazing beach close to the hotel, + nice entertainment each evening (thanks to animatoras), + free WiFi everywhere, + when we went for a trip we got very nice lunch package, + great resident support (in case TUI Travel Agency). Cons: - incomprehensible that you can communicate in English only with one bartender and at the reception !!! - low cleanliness at the room and in hotel, - dead mosquitoes at the room walls (paint or sponge with soap will help?!), - lack of entertainment in area, - bland food, little variety and no vegetables for breakfast, always cold spaghetti!!!, - bad, slow and unpleasant service, dirty plates and cutlery, uncomfortable chairs in outside part of restaurant, - there is an option to eat at beach bar for 40% discount (same food as in hotel, bad and ugly area - not recomended), - poor coctails quality (just 2-3 juices and alcohol), - uncomfortable sunbeds, - tragic toilet at the pool, dirt and light switch damaged with cables outside (this is dangerous!!!) - main pool is to deep and shallow pool have slides exit so no fun in pool for non swimmers, - jacuzzi available only for +15 yo. even with parental supervision, - cleaning products not refilled (shampoo and soap), - only 2 towels in 4 person room, - no water at the room when we arrived, - ugly and dirty balconies with plastic fornitures and dirty clothes dryer, - damaged fire alarm hanging on the wall, - 25 EUR for 1.5 hour on spa area without treatments, - no Hispanic culture feeling in whole hotel.

Stayed for 11 nights in a superior garden room on a half board basis. Holiday was great value for money and we enjoyed that the garden area went directly out to the pool area, ideal for the kids. We had a hire car, which I'd recommend for days out. The hotel is right next to a beautiful sandy beach with a promenade. The hotel was clean and the room was pleasant enough as a base. The food was very good with plenty of variety and there is a small but well stocked shop right next to the hotel. Being picky, I would have appreciated the vegetarian food to have been labelled and the indoor swimming pool was closed. Several of the Algarve7s rugby teams stayed in the hotel towards the end of our visit, no problem and we went to watch them play. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.

We had an amazing family holiday in this Hotel. The food, the service, the staff, the facilities, the cleanes, were amazing. The animation team was great, they made my little one's 11th birthday very special, that's why we want to give a big thank you to: Marta, David, Cristian, Virginia. We also would like to mention Roberto by the reception ( very helpful). Juan, Manuel and the lovely and charismatic Patricia by the bar 😊😊. We would definitely be coming back 😀 :)

The pool area is chaos. There are two lifeguards who are talking to each other and to another colleague and they don't realize what is there: people smoking, bathers with balls, small bubble pool OVERCROWDED with people throwing small children through the air inside despite the amount of people inside, full bins that it is impossible to leave something inside...

Vacaciones con 2 niñas de 5 y 12 años del 21 al 26 de junio en régimen de Ti. Primero quiero decir que, como todo el mundo, reviso todas las reseñas (principalmente las malas) antes de decidirme por un destino, y leí respecto al playamarina alguna que me hicieron dudar bastante respecto a limpieza y estado de las habitaciones.... varias respecto a deficiencias del buffet en cuanto a calidad y cantidad... Pues bien, antes de opinar, decir que soy cliente asiduo de hoteles en TI para vacaciones con niños desde hace unos cuantos años ya.... y, siempre desde mi punto de vista claro está, he de decir que para nada son ciertos los comentarios negativos. Las instalaciones del hotel podrían estar mejor... o mejor dicho más modernas. Pero cumplen de sobra con las necesidades. El personal, tanto de recepción, limpieza, camareros y demás... 10/10. Gracias al camarero Ezequiel, que es un verdadero crack! Zona de piscinas y actividades, quizá se eche de menos un parques de agua con toboganes y demás para los peques, pero tiene una piscina con 2 toboganes grandes y cubre menos de 1 metro. Las habitaciones podrían ser algo más modernas y la tv pilla más canales extranjeros que nacionales, pero la limpieza de diaria es impecable y eficaz. El equipo de animación no es que sea bueno... es que se sale del molde... de los mejores que he visto. Mini club, teen club y para adultos... 10/10 Y el buffet que es donde se lleva peores comentarios... vamos a ver, el que quiera comida 5 tenedores o estrella michelín que vaya a un restaurante 150€ porta menú, aquí tienes lo que pagas y debo decir que está por encima de la media en su rango. Calidad de la comida... 9/10 Cantidad y reposición... 10/10 En los 6 días que he estado, ninguno ha repetido principales platos y he podido comer gambas de Huelva por supuesto, navajas, arroz con marisco, rabo de toro, sushi... etc, etc Creo que no se me olvida nada, así que si estás pensando en pegarte unas vacaciones con niños en hotel TI por la zona de hueva, con playas espectaculares... ni te lo pienses. 100% recomendable. Ten en cuenta que pagas un 4* y estás disfrutando en consonancia a ello. Yo repetiré seguro. Saludos!
