Lovely stay, staff was unbelievable friendly, food was good, room is big and cosy. We really don’t understand the bad reviews. We went for a week all inclusive and we loved it. Every night has some show or games in the bar, every night different cocktails. I think it was one of the best holiday in my life. The hotel is looking a bit old and need some maintenance repairs but who’s care when you laughing and watching some show or karaoke in the bar with a really nice cocktails. Guys don’t listen to the bad reviews. The hotel staff extremely friendly and you will feel like a special person.

This is by far a 4* hotel . I would say 2* We went all inclusive The swimming pool area is really nice but the water is iced cold . You have to pay 1 euro for a plastic cup for a fizzy water (meant be coke , Fanta etc but taste like fizzy water If u want to lay on one of their sofa sunbed things you have to pay 10 euros. If u want a drink after 11pm you have to pay for them . If u go all inclusive make sure u take lots of money to eat out . FOOD OMG has to be 1 of the worse hotel I've ever ate at . Absolutely awful and I'm normally ok with food . The Pics I upload is scrambled eggs , grilled tomatoes and juicy apples Also the view from outside the hotel and nxt door Both sides of this hotel is nxt to empty slums ( mentioned by a few) proper eyesore. Nothing around and 30 minute walk to the square/beach . I found this place so boring . Literally nothing to do unless u want the odd trip if yr willing to pay €100+ Was so bored came home early . I def won't be recommending or coming back

This is not a 4* hotel by any means. Positives - the outside/swimming pool area is very nice and lives up to its 4* rating. Coffee is nice Negatives - the food is horrendous. There is very minimal to choose from and what is there is just so bland and repetitive, this was voiced by so many guests, yet the staff just don’t care. We tried and tried to eat the food, but it was just bad. Some of it was also mouldy. Drinks - these are very watered down. Where fizzy drinks taste like sparkling water. And fruit juice just tastes like cordial. Rooms - the rooms look NOTHING like the photos (we saw 4 of them). They’re outdated and stuck in the 90’s. There are also so many little bugs in the beds, sink and shower. Also if there’s more than two of you be prepared to sleep on a dirty fabric pull out chair. Location - the hotel is quite far from anything. The do have a shop in the hotel that sells basics. But if you want any shops or restaurants you have to walk at least 12 minutes or 35 mins to Costa Teguise. All around the hotel is derelict buildings which the homeless camp out in. This hotel really does need to make multiple changes. We just wish we listened to the true reviews prior to booking and not giving them the benefit of doubt.

This hotel is lovely for a relaxing stay. If you just want pool and drinks and a good location, I’d definitely recommend here. But, if you’d like to go to the toilet in peace, be communicated with, then please I don’t recommend. Unsure if there’s much point to my review as most of their replies to people sound the same The pool is beautiful and spacious as well as a little waterpark for kids which is fantastic. This hotel seems amazing for children but as a couple it’s only a place you’d go to touch base and have a swim, there’s not much happening around. It has an entertainment programme though I expected way more announcements because there’s lots of stuff that’s supposed to happen in the day with adults and children but I never heard either. Neither when we arrived did we even get told about it. It’s clean. Cleaners come in regularly. There’s entertainment in the evenings in their own little theatre which I thought was great and looked great and the restaurant area is nice and clean. But, their public toilets don’t LOCK! So in one instance, I was doing what one does, and the cleaner comes in and YANKS my door open. Probably not expecting anyone to be in there, and she looked so cross like I didn’t lock it, but I DID, she just pulled so hard and it’s a weak lock. Then I second guessed myself and thought, maybe I didn’t lock it. Later that day I go into the outdoor public toilets and I make sure I lock it, I even pull it a bit to see. But then a lady who I knew from making friends around the pool opened it on me. I was so embarrassed. She also agreed that the locks don’t work. This time I left the toilet as quick as I could, basically in tears because as a woman, you need privacy, especially at certain times of the month and I couldn’t do what I needed to do. I tried again, this time being a contortionist and having to hold the handle while trying to do what ladies have to do. Yet again it got pulled open but I had to yank it back and apologise and they did too. I was so cross at that point I put a complaint in. I’ve heard nothing back from them. Then we got put in the first door of the corridor. It was so loud. We barely slept. Every morning the person above us, sounded like they were moving furniture and hitting the walls with sticks. We would wake up so much during the night. But, we had a good deal, a good price so we put up with it. Then we found out we had to pay for our safe. I’ve never had to do that, maybe this is me over reacting. But I thought it was a ridiculous price. Every hotel I’ve ever been to, budget or not, has not charged me for the security of my own hotel room. The room we got put in was so outdated. Do not be fooled by the photos on love holidays, they put the beautiful rooms first (obviously) but look at the rooms you might actually get, it’s got furniture made out of bamboo, the cupboard door was hanging off. It was dull. Happily, we got a lovely like front garden bit which was really nice. Upon checking in, the we

Go!!! After reading all the reviews we were stressed we’d made the wrong choice! The hotel was clean, reception was so friendly, the excursions lady was so lovely too to our little toddler. The food isn’t great breakfast/lunch (we loved dinner) however nothing you cant find to eat. The drinks were fantastic (all inclusive & had cocktails included whahooo) so close to loads of beaches and buses were so easy to use! We loved our time here. Not to mention we got to continue using our all inclusive and had somewhere to change/shower after still even tho we had to check out! Can’t Thankyou all enough.

Bluesea Costa Bastian review. We stayed over Christmas and new year for 12 nights, the hotel itself is lovely, lots of seating areas, beautiful cabanas that you can rent for €10 a day, plenty of sun beds available by the pool and in a separate area down from the pool. We got a suite room which was fabulous, massive room with walk in wardrobe, bathroom, living room with pull out couch, bathtub in the room with a queen size bed The pool bar served drinks from 10-6 and had a cold food bar with bread and cheeses they also did hot food in the afternoons. There’s a pool table, football table and hockey table at the pool bar. Inside there’s a bar where some of the entertainment takes place, they also serve slushies here which are lovely with white rum . Plenty of seating in the bar area too. There’s also an entertainment room beside the pool bar where some of the bigger nights entertainment is held, only downside with this room is it’s quite far away from the main bar area and toilets The food is typical all inclusive, but there’s always something to eat. Christmas Day they hosted a gala lunch which was absolutely fabulous! (Videos attached)New Year’s Eve was amazing, the hotel hosted a NYE gala dinner and a party with a dj, it was an amazing night and you were able to see the fireworks outside at the countdown. Special shout out to the entertainment team they were absolutely amazing every night and went above and beyond on NYE. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel, not sure why the reviews are so bad. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the main square and about a fiver back in a taxi. There’s also plenty of bars and restaurants outside the hotel. We will definitely be back
