Nazaret Mansion

Great hotel hotel with super friendly staff. Rooms spotlessly clean, everything you need in the kitchen. There's also a communal room with washing machine & dryer if you need to do some laundry, and also an ironing room. Toilets & showers also there in the coridoor part, again always clean. One leaf or flower in the pool & it's quickly removed, staff about all day ensuring everything is clean and tidy. On a couple of days there was a man touching up paintwork that needed doing. Good selection of food for brekkie and dinner (both buffet) and snacks during the day at the bar. The bar does close at about 6pm, but lots of places nearby for drinks. There's also a reading room / library to escape after dinner if you want some quiet time. We stayed here after a recommendation, we came to visit a friend who immigrated 20yrs ago. Ideally placed near to the town square and beach, with lots of shops & eateries nearby. Can't fault the place

Staff lovely. Were Half Board and the Food was good. Appartments cleaned every 2 days and Towels changed also. Carmen at Pool Bar just lovely. Staff in Reception very pleasant. Would defo return. One observation was how the Elderly struggled to get down the Steps to the Pool and Restaurant. Maybe Hand Rails on Steps as a Suggestion. No Lifts.

The main entrance to the Apartment has 10+ steep steps and the lift has been out of order for a long time. Even 'ground floor apartments have stairs up to this level and there are stairs down to the restaurant. My husband had a mobility scooter and we had to lift it up the steps inside the hotel. To access the hotel he had to come in a side alley which had many potholes and had one kirb side step. We asked for wooden planks to aid his drive onto the pavement but they never materialised. Apartment was spacious and cleaned regularly. There was a nice pool. It was very central.

Another amazing stay. We have been staying at this complex for many years & wouldn't consider anywhere else. The location is superb for bars/restaurants & beaches. Mercedes, Elana & the team are so helpful & friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Mercedes is like a friend to us, we've known her so long. Lovely lady. The top pool is heated, which is great for the colder months. The apartments have everything you need for a self catering holiday. We don't really cook, but nice to be able to make a bit of toast & have facilities for plates etc. Also iron/small ironing board provided. The rooms are large & really comfy beds & pillows. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. The apartments are extremely clean as are the grounds. Gardens are beautifully kept & always people weeding, pruning or doing some painting or maintenance somewhere. Everyone from reception, gardeners, maintenance men & cleaners are friendly. Always a smile & hola' when seeing them We prefer a ground floor room & of late have been booking a studio, which is large. Our preferred room is end one 2501. Unfortunately in November we were put the other end, looking at a wall. This was disappointing & as we would have to wait 2-3 days before moving, we put up with it for convenience. We are returning 26th March & I will email the reception & hopefully our request for room 2501 will be considered. They are usually very accommodating a helpful, so fingers crossed. The complex is large with 3 pool area's, so there is never ever a lack of sunbeds & privacy. Can't wait to get back to Lanzarote. Everyone is so lovely. A terrible place for a holiday, at first we couldn't find the reception, as the taxi dropped us off at wrong side of the hotel Then we had to navigate lots of flights of stairs with our suitcases just to find the reception. Then we had a long walk to find our room which was on the 3rd floor with lots of stairs And we are in our 70s There is no lift at this hotel And we had to climb 7 flights of stairs every time we went for our breakfast then again for our tea at night Our room was a shock very dull, we had no privacy just one long balcony and if someone was outside there room smoking the smoke was terrible And I have asthma So every time we went to the restaurant or the pool we were climbing 7 flights of stairs I went down to the reception and asked to be moved to a ground floor apartment The earliest I could get one was 2 days later So we lived out of our suitcases until then. But when we moved there was still no privacy as the people next door smoked so every time they came outside we had to go in There is no privacy anywhere at this hotel It's just terrible if you are infirm and can't handle climbing the stairs AVOID THIS HOTEL Which I saw a lot of older people struggling with. And we will definitely not be going back The evening meal was not that great Your room is cleaned every second day and the cleaners are not very happy as they never smile This holiday was for our 25th wedding anniversary Just wish we had gone elsewhere We can't find anything good to say about this hotel So if you are infirm and don't like climbing stairs Avoid at all cost.

The hotel needs to make it clear that there is NO accommodation without s0ome steps. We had asked for an accessible apartment and were on the highest floor, approximately 50 steps up from reception and pool. We had the shared walkway terrace, as do about 14 or so apartments above the restaurant. Even more down to restaurant. We backed on to the nightclub, which was not too bad for 3 of the seven nights. The other 4 were horrendous with loud music, cars, shouting, until 4 or 5 in the morning. It was rumoured that this was a family fiesta hence no action. Maybe true or not. The apartment itself was OK, clean and roomy. The pools were all good. Carmen at the pool bar is a joy. Probably wouldn't return due to noise.
