Wouldn’t return – mixed experience We stayed at Green Factory Hotel while in Bogotá for the Chayanne concert. We appreciated that the hotel offered roundtrip transportation to the concert for 50,000 COP per person — it was smooth and well-organized. The staff was also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, several downsides impacted our overall experience: There is no air conditioning, and when we opened the windows for ventilation, an overwhelming number of flies came in — we had to close them. No hot water made showers uncomfortable. The elevator only worked the first night and was out of service for the next three days. Breakfast was basic. On the first day, staff made us fried eggs, but the next day they said only scrambled eggs were available due to being short-staffed. The location is in a very industrial area with nothing nearby to do. We took an Uber to Cota’s main park, but there was really nothing of interest, so we returned to the hotel quickly. The only amenity available was a pool table. While the room was clean and the concert transportation was a nice touch, the lack of comfort, amenities, and the poor location mean we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
