Riverside has recently been renovated to a high standard. We have created a Luxury 3 bedroom Holiday Cottage (sleeps 6), available for short breaks or weekly stays.The cottage is in a superb location in Fowey, right on the water's edge it has a great view down the estuary. Everything is within easy walking distance. the town centre with its great shops, pubs and restaurants is a 5 minute walk away. A further 15 minute scenic walk and you are at Readymoney Cove. There are numerous walks from the cottage and car parking is very close by. Riverside, being away from the town centre is also relatively quiet, so after a busy day exploring you can get a good nights rest.It features a hand made bespoke kitchen with quartz worktops Miele appliances include integrated oven and dishwasher, there is also an integrated fridge and wine cooler. A freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer is provided in the basement. We have also installed top quality bathrooms with Hansgrohe rain showers and Duravit sanitaryware.The lounge has exposed beams, woodburning stove, and bi fold door with a superb view. It also features quality furnishings, beautiful fabrics and a large smart tv. All our bedrooms feature super comfy beds with top of the range mattresses, crisp top hotel quality 100% cotton sheets and full black out blinds or curtains. The cottage is situated in Station Road, right opposite great coffee shops, a deli and an ice cream shop. It is also home to the annual Du Maurier literary festival and the Royal Sailing Regatta. Fowey has an eclectic mix of independent shops and colourful restaurants, pubs etc. Apart from the sailing Fowey has access to some of Cornwalls fantastic beaches, kayaking, stunning walks and within easy reach of Eden project. Please note that these are non-smoking cottages. Next door is Longsteps which can sleep up to five people. Seaweed Cottage is a delightful double fronted period cottage located in a fabulous position only 20 metres away from the beach at Readymoney Cove with a parking space. Set in one of the most attractive parts of Fowey, Seaweed Cottage will prove to be a great hit with all ages.The property boasts a wealth of character including beamed ceilings, a feature fireplace in the lounge with an electric fire, designer furnishings and unrivalled views of the sea, harbour mouth and the beach. The cottage benefits from a larger than expected front garden, which consists of lawn, slate walls and seaside plants. Towards the end of the garden, there are some delightful marine and coastal views of Readymoney Cove, which can be enjoyed from the raised patio area which is provided for outside dining.The property is accessed through a porch into a slate hung entrance hall with door way to a light spacious breakfast room with a large oak dining table and chairs, under stairs cupboard housing the fridge/freezer and views over the garden and out to sea. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped and includes a gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and butler sink.Across the hallway there is a charming beamed sitting room with stone floor, colour TV, DVD, leather sofas, and antique furniture. There are delightful views across the garden and out to sea from this room.The stairs lead up from the hallway to the bathroom which has a shower over the bath, WC and small wash hand basin. Bedroom 1 and 2 have a double bed, built in wardrobe and cupboards and super views of the sea. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs, while the comfortable lounge/dining area and kitchen are all upstairs to take advantage of the views across the harbour to Fowey and Readymoney Cove. Wonderful views from every window. The coastal path is 50 yards from the door and Fowey is five minutes away by ferry from the harbour. We do not take pets. We have fibre optic broadband. We provide parking approx 100 metres from cottage. Electric car charger has been installed in the public car park. Regular Ferry to Fowey every five mins approx. Long house as you would guess from its name, is long in appearance and offers a large open plan living area, with high-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and under floor heating through out.Long Hosue was once a small pig farm and a small dwelling where a couple who were teachers lived in the 16th century when this property was apart of the ancient hamlet of Little Pinnock.Now, now we have converted it and at one end of the living area is a well-equipped kitchen while the dining area leads on to the sitting room with its log burning stove and large glass doors opening on to a paved patio with wooden garden furniture. Set in its own private garden, Long House also benefits a further 10 acres of land.The spaceLong House has 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom upstairs has king size with en suite. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with two zip link single beds that can be zipped together on request to make a Super King, So perfect for couples or children. The third bedroom has a single bed this room was once apart of a pig sty. There is also a galleried space where able adults or older children can sleep on 2 lowing lying single beds. This is not a bedroom just a sleeping space above the living area. Long House used to be a farm in the 16th century.The ground floor also has a family bathroom with over bath shower. Kitchen living room with log burning stove, and dinning space, patio doors leading out the a terrace and gardens with BBQ and garden furniture.Once part of an ancient hamlet of little Pinnock, situated two miles outside Fowey, the rural setting and woods are the perfect place for kids to be kids, build dens and have their own Cornish adventure. We have often sat at the edge of the woods in the evening with a G&T and watched the wild deer and badgers at play while Kestrels hover lazily above. For dog owners it is paradise, your dog can have all the exercise it needs without leaving the grounds.Guest accessLong House has its own private gardens and a lovely patio straight off the living space. Guests also have access to the woods and fields that are shared by the other two holiday homes on the 12 acre grounds.
