There are two houses on the property. In June of 2015 we completed a full and total re-build of the carriage house and are back up and running on VRBO. Since retiring in 2014, Clarissa and I are living full time in the house and you may see us from time to time, but the carriage house 'cottage' has been designed to be a get-away that is comfortable, elegant, private, cozy and memory making. It is perfect for families, couples, and or friends just wanting to spend some time together. It is far enough away from civilization to enjoy the water, sky, trees and wildlife, without being entirely out of touch. You are in short driving distance to Cambridge, Easton, St. Michaels, and Salisbury, or Ocean City for lots of day-trip entertainment. For nature lovers, we are near the Blackwater Refuge for kayaks or canoes. For hunters, this is an area sought after by those interested in ducks, geese, deer, turkey and others. For golfers, there is one nearby golf course and plenty of varied and highly-rated local restaurants. If you’d rather just stay on the property in a quiet, secluded natural arena, you can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, crabbing (right from the pier), swimming, walking, biking, sitting with your favorite folks, or holding down the hammock with a good book. In cool or rainy weather, there are games, books, internet and TV.
