This foyer is the main entrance.Tucked upstairs, guests will find 3 beds, including a king size bed and 2 singles (an additional cot is also available).Guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious yards surrounding the guest house. A fire pit is available for use. Wood is provided. Farm lanes provide walking paths. Close by, Wolf's Hollow and the Enola Low-grade Rail Trail offer additional hiking and biking options.A variety of eateries and shopping experiences with a local flair are within minutes of the guest house. The town of Intercourse is famous for Kitchen Kettle Village and horse and AAA Buggy Rides. We are also close to the Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets as well as Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater and so much more. Whether you are a cyclist or weekend cruiser you’re sure to enjoy the Northwest River Trail. This rail trail connects the river towns of Columbia, Marietta, and Bainbridge where you can explore the unique history of each on two wheels. It offers breathtaking views of the river along the way as well as plenty of shade as you roll along. With a wonderful picnic area and information about the County’s riverland region, the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center provides a great starting place for your adventure.If you prefer hiking we recommend a visit to Chickies Rock Park. With two overlooks, visitors can take in the incredible vistas of the Susquehanna River. There are also pavilions, picnic areas, and ball fields available- plan to make a day out of it! Rock climbers can often be seen scaling the rock faces along the trail. You can also head over to Pinnacle Point Overlook, which offers stunning views of the Susquehanna. The safe harbor trestle bridge just opened this summer , if you like hiking etc you truly need to check it out. Just a side note , some cell phones will not have service as we are down in the hollow , but you do have service on top of the hill . There is a landline phone free to use and we do have wifi .
