There is a Farmers Market on Saturdays with plenty of food vendors and crafts. John Steinbeck's childhood home is just beyond Main Street in a residential area of town, they do serve lunch. The John Steinbeck Museum is at the end of Main Street. You can rent bicycles or canoes to enjoy the outdoor activies.
