Kee's Hotel

We stayed for 5 nights and had a very relaxing time . The rooms definitely need an update and the housekeeping is a bit hit and miss but the hotel also has a lot to admire . The staff are very hard working and do their best to make your stay enjoyable , even when under pressure . Breakfast was plentiful and varied , something to suit all tastes . We ate in the restaurant and bar and enjoyed both . We would definitely return .

Just back from Kee’s hotel. Our room smelt of damp, very outdated, chairs in the bar were so dirty. Food in the restaurant was just ok mine was cold, rest of families was fine. Stayed here 25 years and was beautiful, but nothing has changed since!!!! seriously needs a massive deep clean and decor updated

Myself and my family recently stayed at Kees Hotel to celebrate my Brothers 50th Birthday. From the moment we arrived right through to departure we had a truly wonderful time. We were welcomed by Vicky Edel and her team at reception, enjoyed drinks by the open fire at the bar while listening to some great music. Dinner was a culinary delight lots of choice on the menu to suit all tastes and age groups. All staff are a credit to the Hotel everyone from reception through to bar and restaurant so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this Hotel for a break away with family we look forward to returning in the future.

First time staying in this hotel and I was very impressed. The hotel is an old family run business, established around 1845 I believe - and the staff were friendly and relaxed but very attentive. We were checked in by Rosin who also gave us some great places to visit in the nearby vicinity, including some spectacular walks. We were served delicious home made scones on arrival in the cosy Harry’s Bar sitting by an open log and turf fire which set us up nicely for our stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of complementary toiletries, and our stay was incredibly enjoyable. Our meals in the restaurant were delicious and well priced and we were very keenly waited on by Agata who was very friendly without being too much in our faces. My wife and I plan to return very soon for another break and I would certainly commend Kees to anyone wishing to visit this part of Ireland.

My mother ,son and I stayed here at Kee's Hotel from 23rd Dec to 27th Dec 2024,cant highly recommend this hotel enough. This hotel is a real family run hotel ,its very homely, all the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and willing to help us, especially getting us bus times to go to Donegal town on Christmas Eve. Our room was great, plenty of room, a great big double bed and 2 single beds, which all was very comfortable ,we all had great nights sleep the whole time we stayed here. The room was very toasty, we had to keep the window open, even though we were directly under the main door off the hotel and busy road the traffic noise didn't bother us at all. The bathroom was quite generous size, had bars of soap, shampoos, shower caps, great big bath tub with overhead shower, the only thing id say about this is a walk in shower would be more practical as its a quite a step in and out for an elderly person. Other than that we were extremely pleased with our room. Breakfast in the morning is a help yourself ,from fruits, cereals, hot food, breads, croissants, tea and coffee, all very tasty, if you come away hungry there's something wrong. we had 2 evening meals which I have to say were delicious especially the steak ,OMG , the best steak I've ever had, so complements to your chef, my mother said the same thing, we enjoyed all or meals here . great service to from the staff, all very attentive to their customers. There was entertainment every night in the bar, a lovely big open fire, very homely and welcoming, Santa arrived on Christmas Eve. Our Christmas dinner was so tasty, all went down a treat, a real home from home feeling. I highly recommend this hotel, we have stayed here a number of times and this was our second Christmas to stay here, it has a great car park, it is in walking distance to Ballybofey , you can get a bus to Donegal town or Letterkenny, there is a great wee walk about 10/15 minutes from the hotel called Drumboe Woods, we went for walk here Christmas morning as the weather was lovely and mild, in fact the whole Christmas period we stayed the weather was lovely. If you are looking for a lovely Irish homely hotel, with lovely friendly staff, delicious food and great entrainment you definitely need to visit Kee's Hotel.

From the moment we stepped inside the doors of Kees Hotel it was a fantastic experience. Check in was seamless with a warm welcome from Edel and the rest of the reception team. The hotel has such a lovely old world charm with so much character. The bar area is really cosy with lovely fires roaring. We also had the added bonus of really good live music / entertainment on both nights we stayed. In fact on New Year’s Eve there were 4 different live music acts starting at 4pm and finishing with a bagpipe player at midnight. We ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights and the food was delicious. Service was excellent too. Our 2 night stay was also really good value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be back.
