Wonderful locally-owned charming hotel. Small but comfortable and well-appointed room with balcony and lovely view. Karl had loads of information and was so helpful. Unknown name, but woman at front desk in the morning knew exactly how to advise us to find the best way up to the TMB trail, walking right from the hotel through the upper town. She also advised us how to take the bus back from Refugio Bonatti (via trail down into the valley near La Vachey) at the end of the day. Breakfast was amazing too, with local typical food and as much espresso as desired! Highly recommended.

I didn’t stay at this hotel but I had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious but portions were quite small. The staff was very nice: polite, made sure that we had everything we wanted. The receptionist was very nice. She gave us some advice on places to ski even though we were not guests of this hotel.

We had a great long weekend with my wife there. The hotel is perfectly located, a few meters away from the pedestrian city center, and offers outdoor parking. The hotel staff (reception-desk, breakfast-room, shuttle-service) has been extremely helpful, kind and professional throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, and very clean, while the breakfast included a nice variety, was delicious, with lots of local quality products. The daily morning-news copy offered at our breakfast table and the shuttle-bus taking us straight at the central ski lift station were two highlights we will definitely remember. We plan to visit Courmayeur stay again here!

The name says it all, the Squirrel, and a squirrel you will find small rooms, small batrooms and small breakfast and small everything. It's ver clean and the staff of the hotel nice. It has a convenient parking behind the hotel.

The customers service in this hotel is second to none. They could not have been more helpful and obliging. Our holiday had some twists and turns (not of their making) and each time they helped us out. Breakfasts and wellness area are fab.

Sometimes I struggle to understand TA ratings since I can't believe how this hotel has such a good ones. Personnel is very attentive, location is Okay, some mountain views and good breakfast, that's it. The rest is terrible! First of all: this IS NOT a 4* hotel despite the rating the local tourist board might have gave them. It looks and feels like a 2* maximum. Minimal 12 sqf rooms bathroom included, not even a desk! Terrible uncomfortable. Bad full size beds, not a king not even a queen, just a full. Parking outdoor and fills up fast, would be even more convenient to park next door on the covered municipal parking. Pictures are terrible deceptive. Luckily we had only 1 night. We won't come back and unfortunately can't recommend.

My wife and I stayed from 06/14/24 to 06/16/2024 for our anniversary. The structure is very well kept and clean, we were given a free room upgrade with a splendid view of Mont Blanc. The rain characterized our stay, we took advantage of it to use the hotel SPA assigned free of charge to hotel guests: each room has the right to exclusive use for 1 hour per day. The staff was very friendly and professional, excellent breakfast made with local products. We chose this hotel because of the excellent reviews, we didn't know it before.
