Le Manoir d'à Côté

On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we had been upgraded, despite our reservation via a smartbox! The bedroom (attic side) is large and full of charm, the bedding is of good quality and the place is very quiet. The parking at the foot of the establishment is a nice little extra. We had dinner at the main establishment, La Pêcherie. The menu is limited, which suggests that it is fresh and homemade. The plates are rather copious, beautiful and good. Breakfast, also taken at La Pêcherie, is varied and very good. This was our second stay at this establishment and we will happily return!

You will be welcomed at the hotel — “La Pêcherie” restaurant. Parking is easy and a Sherman tank greets us. Upon arrival we were able to get an upgrade, which was immediately appreciated. The manor is not far away with very easy parking during the low season. The whole city has free parking. The theme of the room was Zinc and therefore very “Indus”. The warm atmosphere is brought by the brightly colored hangings. We would have appreciated the tea bags and the kettle. On this point, I think it is essential for a three-star hotel. Bedding-wise, we were neither impressed nor really disappointed. The walk-in shower is simple without being huge and the sink mixer does not seem very well thought out. We appreciated the great friendliness of the maintenance staff. For breakfast, you have the classic cereals and pastries. These did not impress me taste-wise. A “grandmother’s” vanilla cream mousse seems homemade and is worth lingering over. If you like salted butter caramel, it is also available for yogurt or bread. We therefore describe the breakfast as good, but without explosions of the taste buds.

Very welcoming and professional staff. Room rather expensive compared to the services offered, no kettle only a bottle of water. Pillows too flat. Shower towels too small. No beauty product samples. No activity to do in the hotel. Very good meal at the fishery. Fresh quality product. Impeccable service. Breakfast OK but nothing more. No homemade pastries. Lack of fruit or compotes, there was only an industrial fruit salad. A little spread would also have been nice. Breakfast times a little late 7:45 a.m. Decent stay, rather pleasant, but value for money needs to be reviewed.

Cadeau (Smart Box) Chambre exigue salle de bain vraiment pas terrible, ménage n'a pas bien fait. Bref je me demande si le faite d'avoir était dans cet établissement avec ce cadeau, il y a des chambres bas de gamme. Mais tout de même au prix de 125€ la nuit. Je ne recommande pas si vous y allez avec une Samrt Box !

Chambre dite "SUD" dans le manoir d'à côté. Les plus : la déco sympa, le parking devant, la localisation. Les moins : la chambre très très petite. Pour les grands il faut se mettre de biais pour tenir dans les toilettes, qui sont dans un tout petit coin de la chambre. 125 Eur pour cette chambre est excessif. (Je précise que je n'ai pas vu les autres chambres qui avaient l'air différentes)1 14 Eur le PDJ qu'il faut aller prendre dans un autre établissement est un peu cher. Nous n'y retournerons pas à ce rapport qualité-prix là.
