This is a very nice Hotel, clean with plenty of little details to enjoy your stay with very kind and helpful staff. It has a comfortable sunroom on the front veranda and the full breakfast is excellent with local produce such as tomato a cherry jam. We were doing the Cid Camino and it was just the perfect place after a long walk.

Warm welcome from Carmen even though we interrupted her lunch. We felt like we were guests in her home. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. There were friendly goats in the orchard and a nice garden to relax in. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and attention to every detail. The rooms had comfy big beds, and hot fast shower. We had to leave before 9 but they provided an early super breakfast with homemade jams, cereal, croissants, yoghurts, tea, coffee, juice, meats, cheese etc. Helpful advice about the town and restaurants We’d Recommend staying at Hotel Dona Sancha and will be back

What a find! A beautiful place to stay with lots to see nearby. We were exploring the Castille and Leon area and had booked a room for three nights here which my husband initially thought was too long. However there is so much to see in the area. The Medieval village is just a short walk away and is stunning. There’s also a riverside walk and the mountains to explore. We saw lots of birds including bee eaters and many vultures. We went to nearby Burgos one day which is a beautiful city with an incredible cathedral. Afterwards it was lovely to rest up on the loungers in the conservatory or in the beautiful garden. Our room was very comfortable too and had a small furnished balcony. We would love to return one day.

We were only at this lovely, quaint and historic hotel for one night but it was an excellent experience. Except for the lack of air conditioning and the very hot Spanish summer, the hotel was a treat. (There were ceiling fans in each room.) The proprietors are very genuine and helpful, and made every effort to make us feel welcome, even going out of their way. There’s so much great, medieval history in the town of Covarrubias, and this historic little hotel is simply part of the charm. We highly recommend staying here.

Un hotel muy chulo con muchos detalles que nos gustaron. La persona de la recepción fue muy amable. En la planta baja hay una chimenea con unas sillas muy cómodas donde puedes tomar un café o infusión (gentilezade la casa). La habitación estaba bien, la cama muy cómoda. Todo limpio y cuidado. Importante a reseñar es que no tiene ascensor y para entrar hay unos cuantos escalones.

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel tres días y la experiencia ha sido excepcional.la habitación era amplia los colchones muuyy buenos ( cosa que valoro mucho), la limpieza muy bien estaba todo impecable, el desayuno muy bien ( el café estaba buenísimo), tienes un minibar si quieres tomar algo a precios muy asequibles.Parking y un jardín muy bonito y por último los dueños Carmen y Alberto encantadores siempre dispuestos a aconsejar que ver etc,si quieres tienen productos del pueblo para vender a muy buen precio las lentejas muy buenas. Un sitio para repetir y aconsejar sin duda.

Hotel muy agradable y tranquilo, las habitaciones están muy bien cuidadas y limpias. El jardín es precioso y muy agradable, perfecto para pasar un rato relajante. El desayuno es fantástico y muy variado. Está situado en una zona tranquila, a 5 minutos andando del centro. Muy recomendable.

É um hotel rústico, com espaços confortáveis e decorados com bom-gosto, com proprietários calorosos, mas não invasivos, um equilíbrio que nem sempre se consegue em unidades familiares. Também apreciei muito o pequeno-almoço e os espaços comuns, como a sala em redor da lareira.
