Very comfortable and clean, with friendly and welcoming receptionist. The bed was as comfy as advertised and the soundproofing must be good as we were undisturbed all night. We didn’t bother with the WiFi as there was such good mobile broadband reception there. Handy location for the NAEC and for visiting Coventry.

Having recently been bereaved, I booked a room at this PI whilst I started to clear my father’s house. I paid £146 for a room - a large amount - but I hoped for cleanliness, basic comfort and a bit of peace. I checked in at 4.30 and was directed to a family room. That was alright but then I noticed a flimsy partition door with a bolt separating me from next door. Shortly after I was in there, I realised there was no soundproofing and I could hear everything my neighbours were doing and saying and vice versa. Fine for a big family but not for absolute strangers. I felt totally self conscious when showering, using the facilities and making a cup of tea in the night as I was afraid I’d wake them up. At 4.30am, I fear I did. I’ve paid to hire a room to feel comfortable in and get respite, not to be made to feel awkward and pay through the nose for it. As a previous customer said, it was none too warm either. I like a PI and I generally have a very good stay. This time, I didn’t and felt exploited. Good sleep guarantee? Hardly if you’re essentially staying with strangers.

This was not a good stay. The room was freezing cold (18.5) and we could not get the controls to increase that temperature at all. To add to this there was a really cold wind blowing through the room- which felt like a window was open. The bathroom was cold, not a heater in sight. There seemed to be a door banging all night long. We were woken at 4 am we were so cold. Again at 6 am, an alarm was going off then people moving about, more doors banging and the room was still freezing cold. We would have complained byt no one was at reception when we checked out. We did not try to complain during the night. There was not any blankets as that might have helped. All together very disappointing night. We have stayed here many times as my daughter and her family live close, which is the reason we chose it. Why was the cost so high? Feel like I’ve been diddled as I paid £130.00 for one night… it was way over the normal price and to be honest I won’t ever stay there again. Of course I would be happy to hear from Premier Inn as to what they think.

GReat hotel, stayed many times, always provides great service. Staff are great, rooms are clean and sleep is always great. Breakfast is a joy. The staff are welcoming and always helpful. It is a nice hotel to stay at when in Coventry. Close to the city and local features. I have stayed here many times and can say truthfully it is always great value for money and a good experience.

The Service recieved from Holly at reception was perfect. She was very friendly and welcoming and checked us in very fast and with ease, she was very helpful and recommend some loval places we could visit for dinner. Breakfast was lovely and we had a lovely night sleep, we highly recommend the hotel for the cost and location if you are near by.

Nice cleaning rooms. Haven’t had breakfast yet but looking forward to it… Holly at reception was outstanding. Very kind and helpful. Would come here again as long as Holly was working. I hope Holly get the recognition she deserves. A good experience.
