After Gym Hotel races behaviour, the police led us to this hotel and it was a great place to stay. Our other commitments didnt provide the opportunity to extend our stay. The employees were friendly and helpful. We promised to visit the ancient city again.

An incredible experience. Impeccable hotel and delivers as promised. Impeccable staff.
The only negative point was that in the bathroom I found mold on the tiles, which means that the cleaning was not up to date.
But overall the experience was very good!

Staying here was part of a motorcycle tour in Portugal. The hotel did not disappoint. From the check-in, so friendly, thank you Beatriz to check out the stay was wonderful. Room was fantastic, spacious, clean and comfortable. Fabulous views towards Covilhã and with plenty of space in the gardens to relax what’s not to like. The location means dining in the restaurant unless a drive down to Covilhã. The food was very good, service was possibly a little rushed at the start. After sitting down why would the menu arrive and being asked for a choice before being asked if a pre- meal drink was wanted. No big deal but not what I was expecting.

This pousada was once a TB sanitarium and is now an interesting place to stay. We came through the mountains, past the highest point in mainland Portugal, to arrive which was an interesting experience. The staff was friendly especially in the dining room. The grounds overlook a very scenic vista down the mountains. There are many seating areas outside that are comfortable. I enjoyed the outdoor pool although, in September, although the air was hot, the water was VERY refreshing! Breakfast was very extensive and everything was good. We dined at the Pousada and enjoyed dinner. The food was well prepared and there was a lot of it. My husband and I shared an appetizer of a cheese and sausage board which could have sufficed as dinner by itself and one dinner plate. We had no room for dessert.

We had a great stay, beautiful hotel and very well maintained. Awesome views which changed daily due to cloud formations. .Rooms, food, pool, sauna - all was fantastic. Close to Ski resort, had snowed enough to play in but not enough to ski.. :)
