The owners are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always lovely especially the mushrooms. This is our 3rd time staying here. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. We stay during festival time. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean and comfy. Love the Caledon!

Room was spacious and very clean. An excellent well cooked breakfast which was ordered online the night before. It was an excellent stay apart from 2 little niggles - one the bottom fitted sheet did not fit properly so therefore kept popping off; the other was I put a dirty towel on the floor in the hope of it being changed but it was just put back on the towel rail.

Lovely, bright and airy guest house. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and clean. Good access to on-site parking, quick and easy check in. Tasty breakfast with plenty of local ingredients, some of which you can also purchase on site. Very quiet location with easy access to shopping centre/red jet passenger ferry. Would highly recommend.

Two chaps in their 50s who stayed one night, after a bike ride around the island. I can’t take the credit for finding The Caledon, but I’m so glad my friend did. Brilliant location. Short walk downhill to main area of Cowes. Great spots to eat and drink and buy yellow and red waterproof sailing clobber. Mark and his wife have thought of everything and the little touches often make a huge difference. They are also both super friendly and relaxed. Great bed double bed in my room with a proper mattress and great pillows (also important). Shower cubicle is snug but does the job. TV remote works without shaking the batteries and pointing it towards the moon. Brilliant breakfast pre ordered on the app (these two have embraced tech and it’s great). Mark did my poached eggs twice because he wasn’t happy with the first two. Others wouldn’t bother. Should also say the IoW coffee was excellent and arrived in a very generous sized cafetière. A secure bike shed with a few tools if needed was a bonus (Mark rides). So this is a brilliant hotel for cyclists (probably not the whole of your local club). Our rooms were ready when we arrived at 11.30 which again was a welcome bonus, and gave us a few more minutes to faff around before we set off. My room was spotless and imagine my mates the same. I’ll stop now. Suffice to say it’s a great hotel and we will be back when we do the reverse loop. Thanks for having us and see you next time.

Its always a joy to visit Caledon again and catch up with Andrea and Mark. The house is always homely and bright, and the rooms are modern, bright with everything you need and more. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice and all local produce. Various local products can also be purchased to take home. There are opportunities to buy drinks, snacks, local produce and even a phone charger, through an online link and purchase system. My wife and I will be back to Caledon when we next visit the Island.

Everything was top notch. Thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, excellent amenities and friendly hosts. It's a 5 minute walk into Cowes and right on the Randonee cycle route as well. I couldnt fault the place and would definitely return.

A lovely experience - the room was comfortable and had everything I needed. it was very clean, tidy and well maintained. Using technology to book breakfast, drinks etc made life so simple. The breakfast of Island eggs, tomatoes, bacon, sausages etc was full of taste and a great welcome. Georgia, a local artist, who helps out serving, is charming and engaging and we had a stimulating discussing about art. Only five minutes walks from the town centre, this guest house is without doubt where to stay in Cowes.

Excellent stay at this beautifully presented family house style B and B. Bed is comfy with good ensuite facilities. Te and coffee making with access to TV if you wish within the room. Breakfast is amazing with a smart on line booking system to choose the start to the day of your choice.
