Everything feels solid and well-constructed with great attention to detail. Beds are comfortable with crisp snowy white sheets and duvet covers. We chose a suite and had plenty of storage and a very functional kitchen allowing us to take some meals in the room or courtyard. The hosts are very welcoming and available if you need them. They show that you don't need to compromise to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. Clever methods of passive lighting brighten the mood as well as the rooms. Heaters are present in the room, though we didn't need them during our stay. Like everything else, they are powered by electricity generated onsite from solar energy.

We were looking for a place to stay close to the University UNAM and the Xochimilco which are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We also wanted to be near the southern bus terminal to continue our journey south to Cuernavaca. We found the perfect base for our exploration in this super charming and eclectic Chalet. We had one of the apartments and entering really felt like entering to a home, our temporary home. A great kitchen, nice shower and comfortable bed in a quiet part of town. Stay here, everything about this place is a story you want to hear. You won't regret it!

This small guesthouse is perfect for the traveler who doesn't need constant service. The two of us stayed in the Carmen Room on the second floor, which has a large window facing the street. The room is mostly filled by the king bed and is five steps away from the shared kitchenette (microwave, toaster, sink, coffee). The room has a hot water kettle which I used for tea every day. There's a filtered water dispenser in the hallway which was super convenient. The house is walled off from the street like many of the houses in this area and is secured with a locked gate. It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside but inside it has two shady courtyards. On the other side of the street is a city bike rental station. Comfortable. Good Location. Stayed 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Coffee and bread with butter and jams available in little communal kitchen. Cute little front courtyard. Room with 2 beds also comfortable and quiet.

Charming small hotel well located in the Coyoacan district. Very well run by Margaret and her husband, the place is quiet, with a small kitchenette for customers. We highly recommend this hotel.
