The ledge is nestled into the forest with wildlife appearing regularly. Lovely peaceful surroundings.
The rooms are 70s style cabins with a nice fireplace for cold winter evenings. No internet or TV but I think this is probably how it should be. It is over priced. That’s just the reality but for a short stay it’s fine

The hoel is great with nice restaurants, but the sauna and massage is quite fully booked which needed to be reserved in advanced. The enchanted walk is just right next to the hotel and we had seen so many wonbats at the hotel area and nearby!!

The location is right in the park. There is a relatively close station where you can take the bus 🚌 for sightseeing. The hotel can buy tickets for you. There are many activities every day that can be booked in advance. We experienced the activity of watching animals at night. If you don’t see anything during the day, you will have a chance at night. It is also a good experience. I highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant. It is the expensive one. It is super delicious 😋 The best lamb I have ever eaten is here. Breakfast is also here. The scenery is not bad. The business is very good. It is a bit tiring to stay for one day. If you have time, I recommend staying for two more days. You can also fish here. There are opportunities to see wild animals around the hotel in the morning and at night. The cabin has a warm house and it is very warm. I recommend this hotel with five stars

I feel like it should be the best resort hotel in Cradle Mountain. The price is expensive, but it is really good. The front desk service is enthusiastic and professional, and patiently explains how to play. The hotel restaurant is very good, the food is good, the breakfast is just average but OK, the room is clean, sanitary and comfortable, and the shower water is super big! It is recommended to check in before 2 pm, first play the hotel hiking route for 10-30 minutes each time, leisurely and slow, then enjoy the hotel restaurant at night, and then go back to the room to sleep, get up early in the morning for breakfast and drive in by yourself at 8:10, no need to take the SHUTTLE BUS, and walk after a day of hiking, recommended! There is only WIFI in the lobby, not in the room, but China Mobile has a full signal, awesome!

A very nice hotel, warm rooms, and a lovely fireplace. The restaurant is great and the breakfast is rich. It is close to the bus station and you can see kangaroos and wombats in the yard.

The best thing about staying at the Pencil Pine Cottage is the crackling burning pencil pine in the fireplace exudes a cool aroma! The kangaroos and wombats that can be seen everywhere at the door are so cute 😍The only drawback is that I didn’t make an appointment for the spa during my two-day stay. It would be so wonderful to relax in the spa after climbing Cradle Mountain for a few hours!
